Any Republican ideas about making life affordable would just be shot down by demonicRATS.
What were Charlie's ideas? What are Dave Rubin's ideas? How did NY become do unaffordable? Republicans haven't held any real power in NY for decades.
Same here in Commiefornia. Republicans haven't had any power in 30 years. Yet, we have tge the highest gas prices, the most expensive housing prices, record homelessness, highest unemployment The list goes on and on.
And we're about to initiate reparations for slavery. Yeah. That'll make things better.
Reparations for Slavery is not about transferring money to black people, it’s about conditioning white people to accept the new order.

I’m dated long before Baby Boomers - don’t know what I am. Regardless, I’m old enough to know that whether just graduating from high school, going on to college ON OUR OWN or just plain working for a living, didn’t make us fall for or support the loudest mouth coming down the pike about whether or not we could afford housing.
We got jobs, worked, got our paychecks, rented our apartments and that was it! We didn’t have anyone screaming in our ears that the affordability of housing was out of our reach. We didn’t know any other way. We did what our parents did before us - paid the bills and kept quiet! We survived and we didn’t have to have a communist come to our rescue...SICK SICK SICK

Trump has been sleep at the economic switch for a while now so either he tries to play catchup or the Democrats will hold the Congress. Pretty straight forward. His Tariff legal challenge in the SCOTUS is on shaky ground so if that blows up he is in real danger and the Democrats will come after blood.
Fifty years later, that ruling class of democrats got old, tired, and rudderless. Now some fresh players are on the democrats bench. They are going into the game with nothing but bait to play the game and no switch. If you drag raw meat in front of hungry jackals long enough, they will rip you to shreds when they sense they can take it. This has become that time. Nothing complicated or nuanced about it. The body politic had become driven by leftist primal rage. The Republicans are clueless.

From all that’s been possible to find on Kirk’s assassin, it does not appear that the politics of Mamdani was high on his reading list. He had a “trans” lover, rejected Kirk’s positions on “transgenders” and saw Kirk’s success as threatening. Mamdani’s politics was not a big part of that.
Oh really? What are your recommendations for awakening at the "economic switch"? Hmmm?
Well lets see, maybe cash rebates to taxpayers to help with tariff and inflation rebates for say a year till Trump has time to tame them. Sizeable tax breaks or rebates for anyone that buys a home, car, or big expense items for a year, For Business Rebates and big tax breaks for new hires retained for a year or longer. Some sort of rebate for anything better than Obamacare for a year till Congress gets off its ass and goes to work... just off the top of my head.
All these would sunset in a year.
Although I applaud your creative thinking, nothing Congress passes ever sunsets, or so it seems. Also, once people get "free" money in their hands, they agitate for those payments to continue forever. Aren't we conservatives the same people who keep pushing to lower the deficit?
