JUST IN: Rep. Brandon Gil Introduces Impeachment Articles Against Judge Boasberg Amid Arctic Frost Conspiracy
The Gateway Pundit ^ | November 4, 2025 | Jordan Conradson

Texas Republican Congressman Brandon Gil has filed articles of impeachment against US District Judge James Boasberg amid revelations that the Obama-appointed activist approved secret subpoenas to seize private phone records of Senators in the sham “Arctic Frost” investigation.

It was revealed last week that the FBI and DOJ weaponized their power to target President Trump, former Vice President Mike Pence, and their allies to dig up dirt on Republicans and activists who participated in efforts to overturn the rigged 2020 election.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, Senate Judiciary Committee Chair Chuck Grassley said last week that “197 subpoenas were issued by Jack Smith and his team. These subpoenas were issued to 34 individuals and 163 businesses, including financial institutions.” ...

"Ignoring his responsibility to wield the power of his office in a constitutional manner, Chief Judge Boasberg granted Special Counsel John L. Smith authorization to issue frivolous nondisclosure orders in furtherance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation project codenamed ARCTIC FROST. These nondisclosure orders covered Members of Congress who were acting in accord with their legislative duties and privileges guaranteed by Article 1, Section 6, Clause 1 of the U.S. Constitution.

Chief Judge Boasberg authorized the issuance of frivolous nondisclosure orders covering at least Senator Marsha Blackburn, Senator Ted Cruz, Senator Lindsey Graham,Senator Bill Hagerty, Senator Josh Hawley, Senator Ron Johnson, Senator Cynthia Lummis, Senator Rick Scott, Senator Dan Sullivan, Senator Tommy Tuberville, and Representative Mike Kelly. These illegitimate and frivolous nondisclosure orders and subpoenas threaten Members of Congress by imposing undue legal scrutiny for fulfilling their constitutional duties. Chief Judge Boasberg signed an order prohibiting AT&T from informing Senator Cruz of his subpoena for at least one year."

Representative Gil told Fox after introducing the resolution, ...

They may not get him convicted in the U.S. SenatUe, but the inquiry gives them the right to subpoena documents from the U.S. District Court for D.C., which should be interesting.

Couldn’t agree more.
So many rogue actions, and, how does he randomly, ALWAYS, end up on Trump cases? Quite a coincidence, IMO.

Nothing will happen with the do-nothing GOP, DOJ and FBI. All talk, no action. One big swamp.

Alcee Hastings, I believe, was the last federal judge to be removed by a vote of congress, 413-3 in his house impeachment vote and 69-26 in the senate conviction.

The Democrats actually held a majority in both chambers at the time. But you can bet that they will circle the wagons for Boasberg as they are a completely different party now than in 1988.

Good point. Discovery will be very revealing.

And yes, his chances of being convicted by the senate are less than democrats making snowmen in the afterlife but, as we have been taught so well, the process IS the punishment, correct, comrade dementiacrats?

Yep... They will just stretch it out and yank our chains with “good intentions” until it is forgotten and then expect their little trophy for participation.

Whats amazing this Judge knows hes eyeballs deep in this shit…. But he still is front and center involving himself in more and more controversial issues publically. No shame , no fear. His hubris is facilitated by deep state Id say.

Good point. Discovery will be very revealing.

The discovery could be persuasive, IF it gets publicized. The corporate media will bury it or try to excuse it as normal. How did the U.S. District Court for D.C. assign the cases to the Never-Trumper judges? It wasn't a coincidence, and courts can't defy Congressional subpoenas in an impeachment case.

And yes, his chances of being convicted by the senate are less than democrats making snowmen in the afterlife but, as we have been taught so well, the process IS the punishment, correct, comrade dementiacrats?

There may be enough senators who realize that what Boasberg and Biden's DOJ did to Republicans could be done to them. That could change some votes. No one likes to be the subject of Deep State surveillance, especially due to his/her politics.

If nothing else, we could make Boasberg the poster child for the need for an independent court of judicial discipline. It's my pet project to have one created to judge the inferior U.S. court judges with a bench that isn't a judge on the courts they judge. At present the various U.S. Courts of Appeals judge themselves, the District Court and other lower court judges. They routinely ignore complaints about those judges from people whom they find beneath them. A court is needed that can focus on judges playing fast and loose with case assignment, issuing warrants without probable cause, jurisdiction, procedure and making factual inventions to clear their dockets. That's the job the U.S. Supreme Court was sold to do to the Anti-Federalists. They were right, of course, that the federal courts would prove to be ungovernable and would violate fundamental rights.

Turns out half the country will cheer on a Constitutional crisis if it suits their needs. Democrats have no issue spying on innocent Americans but will go to any length to protect illegal alien criminals.

Where is the American Bar Association?
Do they need Congress to act before they do anything?
/rhetorical questions The ABA does not oppose impeachment in cases where judges are credibly accused of serious crimes or "high crimes and misdemeanors," as the Constitution allows. Instead, it is specifically against using impeachment as a political weapon against judges for ruling in a certain way. What if the impeachable offense action taken by the judge was a political weapon?
/another rhetorical question

Certainly, the judge’s phones are tapped, and the FBI is doing a thorough investigation of his finances, his family, his friends and business partners. That’s how it works now right?

I heard he’s in the country illegally. That’s what I heard so I’m going with that.

Gill is an impressive guy. It was obvious Mike Johnson was not going to do anything about these feral district court judges. Thank you, Rep. Gill for at least getting the ball rolling.
