His Majesty has today initiated a formal process to remove the Style, Titles and Honours of Prince Andrew.
His lease on Royal Lodge has, to date, provided him with legal protection to continue in residence. Formal notice has now been served to surrender the lease and he will move to alternative private accommodation. These censures are deemed necessary, notwithstanding the fact that he continues to deny the allegations against him.
Their Majesties wish to make clear that their thoughts and utmost sympathies have been, and will remain with, the victims and survivors of any and all forms of abuse.

Since money is fungible, how much will taxpayers have to cough up to pay for not only Andrew’s silence, but likely Ferguson’s and their daughters’, too...
The rumor circulating is that William threatened to take away the titles and perks for Andrew’s daughters so he finally caved. There has been a lot of new information come out so there likely was a tipping point.
William, if you knew about this, you’re the one who will be left holding the bag.
The peppercorn rent saga has really made some people angry. Better for King to fund him than go off to some Middle Eastern house funded by a Prince.
