Soon after New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders took the stage with NYC mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani for their “NYC is Not For Sale” rally, anti-trans activist Riley Gaines issued a warning.
“We’re being destroyed from within,” Gaines wrote in an X/Twitter post, above a picture of Ocasio-Cortez, Sanders and Mamdani.
Ocasio-Cortez saw an opportunity to take a dig at Gaines and replied: “Maybe if you channeled all this anger into swimming faster, you wouldn’t have come in fifth.”
Ocasio-Cortez is alluding to Gaines’ rise to public attention after finishing fifth in the 200-yard freestyle at the 2022 NCAA Division I Women’s Swimming Championships alongside transgender swimmer Lia Thomas. Gaines described the experience as “unfair,” saying it felt inequitable to compete against someone who had transitioned from male to female.

They have convinced her she is relevant.
Riley is on maternity leave. Guess to Sandy, that’s not a real job.
Good one 👍.......why not just insult her mother and get it over with.
Unbelievable that little immature twit is a U.S. representative.....I can only imagine the morons that voted for her.
“...saying it felt inequitable to compete against someone who had transitioned from male to female.”
Get a real job? You mean like a bartender?

Trying to decide who gets this weeks POS award. Her or moochie.
In the immortal words of Andrew Dice Clay, Stick a D!@k in it!!
A conservative candidate with actual sense would have pointed out how Mamdani plans to increased taxes with plans to massively fund “gender affirming” care and the like. (So much for being a devout Muslim.)
Someone who is a real conservative would also point out NYC’s notoriously high abortion rate especially among black women. Where abortions outnumber births 2-1 in some places. But not a single major conservative figure has ever pointed that out and liberals just want the rates to keep going up. But since when as abortion legalization improved anyone’s economic lot? Only made things worse.
Would speaking out on these issues risk loss of support? Perhaps but it gets the ball rolling in shifting the narrative and NYC has more traditional pockets among minority communities than people realize. It’s why Trump made gains in those areas more than in the yuppy elite ones.
increase* wrong tense excuse typos.
Sandy, I’ve noticed you’re getting a big butt. Is that genetic or poor diet?
I know most people who do not understand anything about mohammedans like to assume that they have traditional beliefs on the subject of "chopadickoffofme" turning you into a "woman".
They are wrong. The mohammedian political cult is quite on board with trans delusions.
Oh and they also support abortion and infanticide.
With the father's permission of course. In fact no need to consult the mother at all.
Riley Gaines is awesome.
We are lucky she stands strong and does not sit.
Go raid somebody elses tip jar thief! Raca!
