California Governor Gavin Newsom told CBS News Sunday Morning that he is considering a White House run after the 2026 midterms.
When asked if he would give "serious thought" to a run for national office, Newsom said, "Yeah, I'd be lying otherwise," adding, "I'd just be lying. And I'm not — I can't do that."
The democrat has been a vocal opponent of President Donald Trump, criticizing many of the administration's policies, including the use of federal forces in American cities

Newsome has some serious competition. Governor Pritzker of Illinois is presently campaigning as hard as he can and is successfully holding off President Trump’s military invasion of his state.
Trump will of course prevail but in the meantime the Governor is seen and heard constantly.
Wow. Who knew Newscum was running for Prez. Newsweek really is on top of things.
Is that a surprise? It’ll either be AOC or him. And, actually, I think Newsom with AOC has his running mate is the most likely scenario.
Pritzger may throw his hate into the ring, but he has no chance.

American school kids would be purposely Dumbed Down even further than they have become now, compared to just 20 years ago. Not all of them, absolutely not, but far too many have never mastered the “Three ‘R’s, reading, writing and (basic) arithmetic. Some teachers have been warned not to fail anyone at all, lest they lose their job.
He’s certainly going to get the smelt vote.

Yeah. Could well be. I think there will be a GOP primary fight though.
