He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.

Was the day pretty nice behind the front that went through?

Hey there, radu!

It was wonderful. A bit chilly, and it was down to 71 in the house, so we finally had to turn on the heater. Hated to give in, but it was pretty cool.

How were things there? Were you able to get out and about, or was it a day inside for you?

I guess the dust has settled by now. I haven’t been outside today. LOL Trying to get my sinuses settled down.
They were here this morning to finish knocking down the stubble and they loaded the bales on trailers to haul them off this afternoon.
Rain’s moving through the state tonight and that should clean the air nicely.

It’s pretty frosty up your way. I didn’t need anyone to post the temps in Lake Hood chat to know it’s cold. The snowflakes were a pretty good indicator. LOL

You got lucky. It seemed to blow up JUST west of you and move off to the north. There was enough to accumulate a little on rooftops around the airports. It’s melted now though.

Sounds like you have what I’ve had the past several days. And I know what you mean about not wanting to turn the heat on but giving in to the need. I hated to turn mine on, too, but it doesn’t run TOO much. The thermostat is set at 72.

I stayed in today. The guys were here to finish up in the front field and haul the cotton off. A shame because it was comfy enough outside at 71, even though it was cloudy. Rain’s moving in tonight.
