MADISON, Wis. -- Madison police said an estimated 15,000 people attended Saturday's "No Kings" protest downtown.
The group gathered at McPike Park at around 2 p.m. then marched up East Washington Ave. to the Wisconsin State Capitol.
Police said the march was briefly rerouted after a K9 indicated the possible presence of explosives in a vehicle on West Washington Ave. near the Capitol. The vehicle was investigated and no explosives were found.
There were no reported arrests as of 5:30 p.m. Saturday.

Wow! I wonder what the other 270,300 people were doing on a Saturday. Probably spending some quality time with the wife and kids.

So I take it that downtown Madison is usually an empty ghost town on Saturdays.

15,000 people who have no idea how government works and should not be allowed to vote until they pass a civics exam. Other than that, they are pathetic bunch of KnowNothings - a political party they should resurrect.

It is these ill-informed, ignorant, mentally ill leftwingers who are the ones who want a king, which ostensibly they were protesting against. How ironic. This Town Hall article sums it up nicely:
The People Who WANT a King

I am embarrassed to admit that I went to high school and college in Madison before the caliphate took over.

If they can only pull 15K in the People’s Republic of Madison then the No Kings was a flop
Didn’t see the usual crowd of 60s burnouts, pink haired LGBTQ+ activists and public teachers union members protesting on street corners outside Starbucks and Whole Foods stores around here yesterday either

To put it in perspective, 80,000 people attended the Green Bay Packers game.

Just one day, for 2 hours? Daily protests last for years in Europe. American Lefties are lazy.
