Completely possible. This state has I believe a 900,000 vote Democrat advantage. But it’s slowly starting to get more competitive. We also have a track record of 8 on 8 off between between the parties for governor. Jack is polling much better this time than he was in 2021, so we’ll vote and hope for the best.
What do we know about Scott Presler’s activities on the ground? What exactly is he doing and where is he going?
If Dems lose NJ and VA and the Redistricting motion in CA, 2026 will be an absolute disaster for them. The in party fighting and primary challenges will be everywhere.
7% undecided at this point, with an incumbent Democrat as governor. It seems like the undecideds would be more likely to break toward the party not in power. Still, I have little faith in any poll, but it looks like an encouraging sign.
Scott has been very visible in the state.
I don’t understand the panic by many Republicans. Ciattarelli has cut the lead from 10 points to 1. He is clearly surging. If I were Sherrill I would be very afraid

There are two remaining issues that concern me:
—Off year polling is mediocre at predicting turnout. There is no way to be sure the folks being polled properly represent those who will actually vote
—New Jersey Democrat after midnight fraud
We could win this—but I would not want to put money on it.
The bad news for New Jersey is that tens of thousands of Republicans have migrated out of the state over the last few decades. The good news for the rest of the country is that this has helped turn some other states more “red” over the years.
And even so, it has still been trending red...though still blue leaning.
Scott is an absolute LEGEND, he busts his ass every single day!
I don’t know that it’s panic so much as many of us realize Jack is not much of a help to changing NJ for the better even if he does win.
The press is reporting she’s up 7 points after that last debate when she accused Jack of killing thousands of people with medical literature. 🙄 Yes, people are ignorant enough to believe her.
So, everyone needs to get out and vote for Jack.

Ciattarelli is doing well with his ads, which simply are videos of Sherrill stammering answering basic questions about what she will do as governor, and how she made millions in the stock market. They will have an affect. Sherrill’s ads are typical emotional Rat appeals to abortion. Ciattarelli has a chance to win this if his base shows up at the polls.
He needs some crossover voters, moderate Dem support and a big percent of Independents.
