Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has agreed to a U.S.-backed plan to end the war in Gaza and establish “a credible pathway” to a Palestinian state.
The White House rolled out the plan shortly before President Donald Trump appeared with Netanyahu for a joint press conference at the White House. Trump announced that Israel had agreed to the 20-point framework, which the president said would deliver “peace in the Middle East,” during his opening remarks.
“Today is a historic day for peace, and Prime Minister Netanyahu and I have just concluded an important meeting on many vital issues, including Iran, trade, expansion of the Abraham Accords, and, most importantly, we discussed how to end the war in Gaza,” Trump said. “I also want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for agreeing to the plan and for trusting that if we work together, we can bring an end to the death and destruction that we’ve seen for so many years.”
Trump said a number of Arab nations have also agreed to the outline, including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, and others.
“Under the plan, Arab and Muslim countries have committed … to demilitarize Gaza – and that’s quickly – decommission the military capabilities of Hamas and all other terror organizations – do that immediately – and we’re relying on the countries that I named and others to deal with Hamas. And I’m hearing that Hamas wants this done, too,” the president continued.

For eternal peace in the middle-east, all of the lands in that area have to be emptied out, and no humans ever again allowed to enter.

Shock within Hamas and the Palestinian Authority over the amendments introduced by Netanyahu. Hamas claims this is a deception by Trump and Netanyahu, similar to what was done with Iran.
Does not sound like Hamas will accept this. Is the US adminstration counting on Quatar squeezing Hamas? They could do it, but will they?
What concerns me, in light of what Trump has said in the last few days, is that he wants to wind things down in Gaza because we are on the cusp of going to war with Russia. The transfer of military equipment from Israel to Ukraine in the past week would suggest that is the plan. It seems the deep state might be calling the shots on this.

President Trump will see that the agreements are followed but he will be gone in three years
President Bush made huge mistakes in the GWOT days but the real problem was that responsibility for Iraq and Afghanistan passed onto Barak Obama who worked with his Muslim brotherhood allies and sabotaged the rebuilding and enabled ISIS and Iran
It will likely be the same with the Trump plan.
Good process under Trump but the leadership will take control when Trump leaves office and that leadership is fundamentally hostile to Israel.
Add in the likelihood that Netanyahu will be followed by a very leftist leader that has common cause with that leadership and you have a recipe for disaster after Trump leaves office
