Police Scotland has charged a man and a woman in connection to the incident which saw a 12-year-old-girl charged for allegedly brandishing an axe and a machete.
The school girl was said to have been in possession of the weapons when she was walking around a street in the Lochee area of Dundee last month.
It comes after footage of the alleged incident circulated online and was shared by X Supremo Elon Musk and Far Right campaigner Tommy Robinson.
Even First Minister John Swinney was forced to step in to call for users to stop spreading misinformation around the case. Upset social media users even set up a fundraiser for the girl's family that raised more than £70,000 with a target of £250,000.
The force has confirmed today to charge a man and a woman in connection with the events on August 23.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Following extensive enquiries, a man and a woman have been charged in connection with an incident in St Ann Lane in Dundee, which was reported around 7.40pm on Saturday, 23 August 2025.

My understanding is that the girl that showed the weapons (and was arrested for that) was 14 years old and that she came out with her weapons after her 12 year old sister had been beaten and sent to the hospital. There was another girl in the video, she could be a friend or another sister.
The immigrant couple (in the UK only 4 years) then harassed the 14 year old girl and dared her to show the weapons so they could film her brandishing bladed weapons and have her arrested.
But that is what I have gathered from reading about this and watching the video, I could be wrong.
Since we're talking about the UK here, the adults charged were probably the girl's parents.
I do have some speculation about the arrested man, Fatos Ali Dumana. He’s from Bulgaria but that name doesn’t sound so Bulgarian. So let’s see what Grok has to say:

UK 70 grand will hire a very good barrister.
In the USA this is the type of case that any criminal lawyer would be able to resolve with a slap on the wrist, especially given the age of the person charged (actually the victim), if not outright dismissal.
In the UK the government never backs down because they want to brandish their authority, so this could very well go to court. Not sure if you get a jury at that age, which is another break for the prosecution. It is hard to imagine any US jury would convict her.

I don’t think so. I believe people who know the girls have said they are in care. Most likely it was the “Gypsy Gangster (the man’s own nickname for himself) and his sister. Those were the two that were harassing and attacking the girls.
I’m still not over Cronos claiming the girl was just picking on some poor harmless couple. The video told the truth about what happened, for anyone wanting to know the truth.
The man and woman arrested are likely the girls parents...considering the knobs running Scotland.
