YES‼️Section 8 Update: Donald Trump has directed HUD, the US Housing Department, to not only remove ALL non-citizens from Section 8 but to also remove mixed non-citizen families

If there is an illegal in the home YOU WILL BE REMOVED “A full fledged audit of all residents in The United States for citizenship and will begin evicting families that are mixed status”

“For example, if you are a parent who is an illegal immigrant but you receive section eight through your children for housing, you can be evicted.

This is part of an audit Donald Trump has instructed to Scott Turner. This would mean that 2,300,000 families are at risk of being evicted if one or more family members do not have citizenship in that household.”

My mother and father sponsored my mother’s best friend from England in the early 1960s. They had to provide for her further education and medical expenses if she could not financially cover them. She received nothing from the US government nor did she want it. She married my uncle, became a citizen, and eventually owned her own business. The current situation angers her because she did everything the proper and legal way.

Clearly it’ll be slapped down - Trump knows it.
He’ll win in the end - but in the interim - who knows how many will
self report because of what they know is coming

yes, I was one of them. I had to sign an affidavit that I wouldn’t be a burden on the public charge along with a full medical examination, including chest x-rays. And I had no problem with being required to do so.

How Long Does It Take to Get U.S. Citizenship After Marriage?
The process of applying for U.S. citizenship after marriage typically takes 6-9 months from the time the application is submitted. However, processing times can vary based on the specific circumstances of the case. It is important to note that the time you have had your green card isn’t the only factor that matters; you must also meet other essential requirements to be approved. These include being at least 18 years old, being a permanent resident for at least three years, being married to and living with your U.S. citizen spouse for those three years, and having lived continuously in the U.S. for at least three years before filing Form N-400.

Agreed. This should be taken into consideration. Has the spouse applied for citizenship ship? Are they learning the language and assimilating? Do they have a green card? Are they working?

That’s how it worked when my wife and I married in 1986

Foreign spouses get an expedited path to citizenship and green card
They would not be part of the program

Perfect example. Unsurprisingly, our caliber of import has declined significantly! We have so many marginal immigrants multiplying by chain migration that we need to stop that, too.

Come on now, they can flaunt one law with impunity (illegal entry into the United States), so why not let them flaunt even more ?

You are correct. Japan allows only one nationality and no dual citizenship. Actually their policy makes a lot more sense when you think about it. Congratulations to you both and you have a smart spouse there.

Allowances should be made in such cases. However, nations which are unfriendly should be much more carefully reviewed. Yesterday’s enemies can be tomorrow’s friends and vice versa. Periodic review might be prudent.

I lived in Japan for five years. My son was born there. WONDERFUL country.
