Howdy, luvie.
I hope it didn’t get too hot today.
It was quite a bit cooler here due to clouds and rain. I woke up to find 3.3 inches in the rain gauge!

Hey there, radu!
It wasn’t too hot. Maybe 92, which in mid-August is a miracle of coolness. LOL!
I’m NOT shocked at your rain amount. I’m just thankful you didn’t get flooded like other TN locations did overnight. Freaky!

Your temp is what I expected today. The rain was a total surprise. They said there’d be some scattered showers and that’s not what we got. A rowdy thunderstorm woke me up for a minute around 7:30 but I slept through the rest.
I imagine there was some localized flash flooding around here. I missed the evening news so don’t know what went on elsewhere.
At least it’s calm tonight. I need to head out and get some stuff done before I leave for my shift at the Traveling Vietnam Wall. Have a good rest of the evening.

Nighty-night radu! Enjoy your time at the Vietnam War Wall tomorrow.
Chattanooga got bad flooding. I read a bit about it this morning, but haven’t seen any updates later.

Comments below the video:
“I spent 2 two tours in South Vietnam in the USAF. Tuy Hoa, Phan Rang, Danang air base, TDY to Bien Hoa. Now at 76 I think to myself What a Waste this war was❗ My generation was destroyed in Vietnam.❗ NEVER AGAIN. Thanks for these historical programs.”
“My dad was a Marine, served in Vietnam 66-67. Saw things he rarely talked about. He brought the scars of the war home and treated the trauma by abusing alcohol. The 1970’s and part of the 80’s were difficult for our family as dad struggled with his addiction.”
“It’s important to note not even all American POWs from the Vietnam war came home , look into it.”
