I hate to say this, because the Hamas still have prisoners, but would the hostages at Dachau, Treblinka, and Auschwitz have been better off if the Allies had sat back and waited till the Germans maybe surrendered? I donāt know that answer and itās not my loved one digging their own grave. Itās a no win situation for the families. God bless them and Godspeed to their loved ones.
The article buries the lede that the ājournalistā was the head of a Hamas terrorist cell.
The “good people” (you know who I mean) do not believe that the “journalist” was a terrorist.
It’s a hard thing to say but the hostages should be considered dead and every pal with a gun, every hamas animal should be seen or found should be put down.
The war was started by the pals, by hamas and the only way it’s going to be finished for once and all is if gaza is carpet bombed in its length and breadth and then the ruble is bulldozed in to the river and the sea. This is a war for the survival of the Jewish people and for the rest of the world to counter the moslem, the islamic creeping threat to peace and proprietary and freedom of the free REAL democratic world.
The pals only want a ceasefire so they can rearm, the iranian regime is now chasing their own tails as a drought is about to end their existence as a country. By all reports the muslime high muckity muck is drugged out like brandon was so there will be no help there.
Pray for the drought to continue in iran until it’s nothing but dust and that Israel burns gaza to the ground for the betterment of the world.
The USA save millions of lives by dropping atomic bombs on Japan and no can deny that no mater what is said. War is hell and it needs to come to gaza with fire and ruin to clean it once and for all.
He was a Hamas operative posing as a journalist. One of the lead purveyors of Pallywood fakery. He was as much of a monster as Goebbels.
Not comparable.
Auschwitz etc were death camps, not hostage camps
Good catch.
Very little media is objective and not pushing an agenda.
At first they’ll try to spin it as “bad Israeli’s.” They (Palestinians) often beat the Israeli’s to the punch.
IMHO, one of the reasons for the Palestinian IO success is the pace / tempo at which they react to these situations. The Israeli’s seem to “lag behind” the Israeli’s and he who gets the news out first tends to define the narrative.
But once the rest of the story comes out, I’m sure he was was basically an unofficial spokesman of the Palestinian side, moving around with militants etc...
Probability of getting shot or bombed eventually when embedded with the Palestinians? Very high.
Headline should read Isreal kills head of Hamas terror cell masquerading as al Jazeera journalist.
I think you are partially right. To fully analyse the information war between Israel and the Arabs/palestinians/the Left would take several books, but I would like to add two things to what you wrote above:
1) The majority of the msm is totally biased. That goes especially for Reuters and AP who sells news items around the world. So even more neutral media outlets will publish the biased news items produced by these propaganda purveyors since they often do not have reporters in the area and/or journalists who write their own pieces.
2) Laziness/inability to scrutinize a text critically/time constraints: If you read or listen to modern news media, the news often consists of some statement from a person or a group. At best this statement may be contrasted by another person's statement. Thus, almost every news story is a "he said, she said, they said" story and nothing else. Despite the fact that the modern information technology has made it so much easier to link to original documents it is very seldom one will find a news story that actually discuss and presents real data.
This is partly the problem the Israelis have not come round. In the present story the IDF has presented documents and tables regarding Anas Al-Sharif's connection to Hamas. However, the media is no longer interested in data. Data can always - and has been in this case - be countered by someone saying "this is not true". And there never is a demand for some kind of counter-evidence.
This anti-intellectual way of handling news is the real problem not only for Israel.
Also not comparable are the motivations and knowledge of the good guys. Did the Allies really know about the Holocaust? Perhaps the military leaders did but the public didnāt. So there was no outcry to make sure that winning strategies for WW2 ensured that few Jewish survivors werenāt killed. In the current war Israelās strategy has to try to minimize deaths of the hostages or theyād face a PR nightmare.
I first saw it on Amirās telegram channel.
I kept looking for that little factoid. Didnāt see it.
Next to an underground tunnel, the most dangerous place in Gaza is next to a hospital. The IDF is limiting journalist access and warning them.
Who says they canāt do a pinpoint strike that does not endanger innocent civilians?
His channel is a goldmine of good information in english.
