I remember the first time I met Randy Fine when he was a candidate before he barely won Florida’s deep red 6th district seat, as we were being told he might actually lose the seat because the strong Trump district couldn’t relate to him and didn’t like him.
He was telling me that he and his wife were looking forward to moving to Washington and he hadn’t even won yet. I said to him that Washington isn’t a good place to live and he should live in the district he will represent. You know that whole “representative” thing.
But he was adamant that they did not want to live in the district. And I thought, no wonder that district doesn’t want to elect him.
I can only imagine how Florida’s 6th district feels now that their Representative, that they were told to vote for, openly calls for starving innocent people and children.
It’s the most truthful and easiest thing to say that Oct 7th in Israel was horrific and all hostages must be returned, but so is the genocide, humanitarian crisis, and starvation happening in Gaza.
But a Jewish U.S. Representative calling for the continued starvation of innocent people and children is disgraceful. His awful statement will actually cause more antisemitism.

MTG never bothered to check the facts - the UN is refusing to distribute the food and water, while Hamas is not only stealing as much of it as they can, but shooting anyone trying to get some.

Actual genocide doesnt give the victims a choice….. Hamas brought it all on themselves and continue to do so….. and the “Palestinians” choose Hamas to rule them so…. Its also on the Gazans. Maybe someday the Gazans will decide terrorists dont make things safe or prosperous and revolt…. But I doubt it.

It is a ridiculous double-standard of the anti-semites that in no other war in history is one side expected to feed and supply the other side during the war, but somehow Israel is a monster if it does not do so. To the contrary, to minimize casualties and end the suffering it should crush the will of the enemy to resist by immediately doing exactly this. Once Hamas grasps the totality of its defeat in such a case the universal pattern will assert itself: The loser will sue for peace, the enemy will be victorious and assert control, and the suffering can be brought to an end.
It's just a crying shame that Israel is too strongly influenced by self-defeating Western notions of how to morally fight a war, which every time simply results in greater expanded human suffering, and usually in the defeat of the "moral" power, making all the bloodshed they caused by even fighting in the first place a waste and done in vain.

I shouldn’t listen to Glenn Beck but his sidekick made a couple of observations in 5 minutes yesterday.
1) If children are starving why are no parents shown starving?
2) Two of the examples were unfortunate childhood victims of genetic or other maladies causing inability to process nutrients and maintain body weight. Not from having too little food around.
