How will Congress react to a bill banning weather modification? Georgia’s Republican congresswoman, Marjorie Taylor Greene, announced she’s introducing such a proposal soon with a fellow Republican Southern lawmaker, Tennessee’s Tim Burchett, as a co-sponsor. While it’s sure to generate jeers of “conspiracy theories,” that will only indicate the ignorance some may harbor about a practice that is out in the open.
Greene tweeted Saturday that she aims to make it a felony offense for private or government entities to inject, release, or disperse anything into the atmosphere that would change the “weather, temperature, climate, or sunlight intensity.” She said the federal proposal will be similar to a Florida bill that was recently signed into law.
The existence of weather modification is fact, and so is the government’s participation in it. The U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) admits the government is involved in cloud seeding, although it claims that such participation is “minimal.” According to the GAO:
The GAO says that although cloud seeding technology has been around for 80 years, for some reason information on its impact is “unavailable” or “unreliable.” It further notes that people in general are ignorant about its impact. “The public may not fully understand cloud...

There are clear needs for cloud seeding operations to counter prolonged droughts.
people can jeer all they want, but Colorado’s Big Thompson flash flood in 1976 which killed 144 people occurred as airplanes were buzzing around for weeks “cloud seeding” with tons of microscopic iodine crystals ... the local newspapers were full of news about how wonderful “cloud seeding” was and all the rain it was going to make UNTIL a deluge of rain produced the killer flash flood, at which point not another word was ever published in Colorado about “cloud seeding”, and said “could seeding” immediately ceased with nary a word as to why ... no Internet then as an information alternative, so the “cloud seeding” that preceded the killer flood disappeared into the memory hole ... i remember because i had just moved to Colorado in 1975 ...
That is nuts.
The strongest green-house gas is water vapor, so taking hot showers will be prohibited? Bpoling water? cooking?
The most commonly known green-house gas is CO2 which we exhale, so now breathing will be prohibited?
Another strong gas is methane, normally produced by cow farts. Will we have to euthanize all cows? What about all ants?
And of course we will have to ban all cars.
This is insane.

Evidently you have never heard of "cloud seeding," which is what the bill addresses, but you go ahead and feel free to act like a moron.
This is by no means bad idea.
Similar proposal is being considered in AZ.
Enviros are trying to ban pretty much everything, because it may do something harmful, maybe.
But they like to inject all kind of harmful chemicals into atmosphere, under the pretext that it may help with global warming.

Should Israel develop and deploy satellite based directed energy weapons, Congressman Greene will be fully vindicated. I also find the very idea to be quite humorous.

And how do you draw the dividing line?
How do you distinguish ‘cloud seeding’ from any other methodology that affects the weather, like carbon trapping? or CO2 production? or EV cars vs gas cars?

ELF-types wanted to kill a bunch of people with flooding caused by cloud-seeding rockets.
Some of the more exotic theories to dim sunlight with semi opaque artificial clouds (no, not chemtrails),or high altitude membranes, is messing with nature big time. Our "experts" have constantly created unintended consequences with their science projects to our detriment.
Remember the time they were contemplating dropping an atomic bomb in a hurricane?

Ground Seeding Operations: November 1st to April 30th
*Cloud seeding does not occur outside of these operational periods in Idaho
