A look at the facts.
Matt Gaetz, the former congressman and Donald Trump’s first choice for attorney general, claims that Israel is trying to coax the U.S. into entering a regime-change war in the Middle East. Many who rally under the America-First banner, including Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.), agree with him, although President Trump has stated in no uncertain terms that “AMERICA FIRST means many GREAT things, including the fact that, IRAN CAN NOT HAVE A NUCLEAR WEAPON. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!”
On his OAN show, Gaetz played a 2002 clip of Benjamin Netanyahu warning that Saddam Hussein was developing nuclear weapons and guaranteeing that the Middle East would be safer for everyone if Saddam were removed from power. Obviously Netanyahu was dangerously wrong about that, and no one has ever claimed that the Israeli prime minister was infallible, but Gaetz argued that Netanyahu led us down the primrose path into war with Iraq then, and now was doing the same thing with Iran.
Greene then added that Israel attacked Iran first; she appears unaware of or indifferent to the fact that Hamas, which began the conflict by brutally murdering 1,200 Israelis on Oct. 7, 2023, is a proxy of Iran, as are Hezbollah and the Houthis, the other principal groups waging jihad against Israel today.
One notable omission in Gaetz’s presentation was that far from departing from his America-First principles, Trump has been consistent for ten years about his determination to prevent Iran from getting nuclear weapons. In his very first speech as a politician, announcing his candidacy for president on June 16, 2015, Trump said: “I will stop Iran from getting nuclear weapons.”
Gaetz likewise ignored the fact that it isn’t just Netanyahu who claims that Iran is trying to get nuclear weapons...

Nope.
Naw. Its just a fun excursion to Tehran Disney Land.
Excepting for the Obama and Biden administrations, regime change is what the U.S. always wanted for Iran.
So, the charge of Israel dragging the U.S. into a regime change war, is total nonsense.
Iran has been “two weeks from developing a nuclear weapon” for about 30 years now.
As the leader of a country that has invaded more countries and toppled more governments in his lifetime than the rest of the world combined, I’m sure President Trump knows full well that every foreign leader with half a brain would be retarded if he DIDN’T develop whatever arsenal he needs to protect his own country.
Regime change is not a stated goal of Israel or the U.S.
It may yet happen if Persians make it so.
President Trump and the adults have this. So all you doubting panikans can shut up, and sit thecorner with your sippu cups
Obviously Netanyahu was dangerously wrong about that...
I recall a raid by Israeli jets on a nearly completed nuclear reactor in Iraq.
Does anyone think that Saddam WASN’T going to use that a stepping-stone to nuclear weapons ?
Persians need to earn it and own it.
That’s best.
Nope
And if we had done the prep work to remove Saddam Hussein in Iraq that Israel did in Iran….the war woulda been over in days or weeks. It’s trying to use the US military for “ nation building” that bogs us down for decades
We stuck around Iraq for fear Iran would take advantage of the instability and shift the Shia-Sunni balance of power
But realistically, with the mullahs and Rev Guard weakened or gone…who would move into a power vacuum in Iran that the people themselves could not sort prob with the help of the regular Iranian military ( never trusted by the regime)
Iran sponsors terrorism all over the world, even as far as South America. Any kind of regime change would be a good thing.
The people of Iran must rid themselves of the mullahs and the IRGC.
We should give them the guns to do it.
Yeah - the “Iran nukes” thing is a ruse. This is merely a new front in a global proxy-war.
Iran is the Persian Gulf / Arabian Sea pivot of Russia and China. On May 29 Iran and China opened a direct rail exchange, under China’s “Belt and Road” program.
Russia already operates the “International North-South Corridor” through Iran to India.
It would tie them all together, with no need for anyone to cross unfriendly borders, deal with sanctions, or deal with the US Navy at sea.
Clearly, the US deep state can’t allow that.
Is Richard Spencer trying to drag me through another meaningless speculation?
Oh, it’s Robert, never mind.
Iran has been a recognized enemy since 1979, and a formidable enemy. Iran has been the center of world-wide te3orism all during the same time period.
If you defeat the enemy, their leadership escapes to another place or is killed, and the resistance force takes control, is that regime change. Hell no!!! That is called winning!!!
No one is dragging Trump anywhere he doesn’t want to go.
