In the history of no good, very bad days, Tuesday, June 10th might rank right at the top for California Governor Gavin Newsom.
First, Los Angeles is having a riot-strewn meltdown over — checks notes — the federal government enforcing federal immigration law, while local and national Democrats twist themselves in pretzel knots to avoid condemning said rioting while blaming it on — who else? — President Trump.
Then, he got into a pissing match with the president over whether or not they had spoken on the phone. (Hint: They had, and Trump had the receipts to prove it. Gavin just decided to play cutesy because Trump said it had happened "a day ago" when it was actually three days ago.)
Then, he asked a district court judge to issue an emergency temporary restraining order against the Trump administration for deploying National Guard and Marines to help quell the unrest — since he apparently couldn't be bothered to. The judge hasn't turned him down outright, but did grant the administration's request to have time to actually reply before he makes any determination on the matter, setting a hearing on it for Thursday.
Then, Newsom got smacked around on X by Vice President JD Vance, before being raked over the coals by Fox News personality and author Steve Hilton, who's running to replace him.
And then...he held a big press conference to excoriate President Trump. Only...his audio feed failed, so the bulk of his lies fell on deaf ears. He sounded hoarse and agitated, too.

In case you've any interest in what he said in between the audio failure, here's a sampling:

"What's happening right now is very different than anything we've seen before. On Saturday morning, when federal agents jumped out of an unmarked van near a Home Depot parking lot, they began grabbing people — a deliberate targeting of a heavily Latino suburb. A similar scene played out when a clothing company was raided downtown. In other actions, a U.S. citizen, nine months pregnant, was arrested, a 4-year-old girl taken, families separated, friends, quite literally, disappearing."
Well, that sounds upsetting, to be sure. I don't believe I've seen the part where that justifies torching Waymos, hurling projectiles at law enforcement, spraying graffiti everywhere, looting businesses, and blocking freeways, but you do you, Gavin.
Oh, I'm sure he will — like how he'll lie and insist that everything was just hunky-dory, garden variety, peaceful protests until President Trump got involved.
"Like many states, California is no stranger to this sort of unrest. We manage it regularly, and with our own law enforcement. But this, again, was different. What then ensued was a use of tear gas, flash-bang grenades, rubber bullets — federal agents detaining people and undermining their due process rights.
"Donald Trump, without consulting California law enforcement leaders, commandeered 2,000 of our state's National Guard members to deploy on our streets — illegally and for no reason. This brazen abuse of power by a sitting president inflamed a combustible situation, putting our people, our officers, and even our National Guard at risk. That's when the downward spiral began. He doubled down on his dangerous National Guard deployment by fanning the flames even harder. And the president, he did it on purpose."
He also had this to say after blaming the entire situation on Trump:
"California will keep fighting. We'll keep fighting on behalf of our people — all of our people — including in the courts."
You can catch the entire speech here. I'm sure Gavin would appreciate it if you did. He really wanted to be heard. Just ask Sean Hannity.
"Alright, this is a Fox News alert. Governor Newsom just texted me and was asking me whether or not we will be taking some of his press conference at the bottom of the hour..."
Poor guy. Maybe instead of desperately seeking airtime, he should be focusing on helping get things under control in L.A.
Editor's Note: President Trump isn't going to allow lawlessness to reign in America. We will not have a repeat of 2020's "Summer of Love."

Thank you very much and God bless you.
he’s in an N-word state of mind and he just happens to be white.
Instead, they continue to elect mentally deficient people to various offices. Newsom. Waters. Hank Johnson. Etc.
Newsom also mentioned that Trump wanted a military parade for his birthday. Seriously.
The parade is for the Army’s 250 annivarsary and not Trump’s birthday:
Democrats act like they welcome anarchy and lawlessness.
There are about 500 million guns in the country, overwhelmingly in the hands of good all-American types. If those folks ever decide that “anarchy and lawlessness” is OK and they also decide to go take out the trash, there won’t be any Democrats left.
“...Democrats act like they welcome anarchy and lawlessness....”
They do want anarchy and lawlessness.
Saul Alinsky’s 12 Rules for Radicals
Here is the complete list from Alinsky.
RULE 1: “Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.” Power is derived from 2 main sources – money and people. “Have-Nots” must build power from flesh and blood. (These are two things of which there is a plentiful supply. Government and corporations always have a difficult time appealing to people, and usually do so almost exclusively with economic arguments.)
RULE 2: “Never go outside the expertise of your people.” It results in confusion, fear, and retreat. Feeling secure adds to the backbone of anyone. (Organizations under attack wonder why radicals don’t address the “real” issues. This is why. They avoid things with which they have no knowledge.)
RULE 3: “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy.” Look for ways to increase insecurity, anxiety, and uncertainty. (This happens all the time. Watch how many organizations under attack are blind-sided by seemingly irrelevant arguments that they are then forced to address.)
RULE 4: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.” If the rule is that every letter gets a reply, send 30,000 letters. You can kill them with this because no one can possibly obey all of their own rules. (This is a serious rule. The besieged entity’s very credibility and reputation is at stake, because if activists catch it lying or not living up to its commitments, they can continue to chip away at the damage.)
RULE 5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon.” There is no defense. It’s irrational. It’s infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. (Pretty crude, rude and mean, huh? They want to create anger and fear.)
RULE 6: “A good tactic is one your people enjoy.” They’ll keep doing it without urging and come back to do more. They’re doing their thing, and will even suggest better ones. (Radical activists, in this sense, are no different than any other human being. We all avoid “un-fun” activities, and but we revel at and enjoy the ones that work and bring results.)
RULE 7: “A tactic that drags on too long becomes a drag.” Don’t become old news. (Even radical activists get bored. So to keep them excited and involved, organizers are constantly coming up with new tactics.)
RULE 8: “Keep the pressure on. Never let up.” Keep trying new things to keep the opposition off balance. As the opposition masters one approach, hit them from the flank with something new. (Attack, attack, attack from all sides, never giving the reeling organization a chance to rest, regroup, recover and re-strategize.)
RULE 9: “The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.” Imagination and ego can dream up many more consequences than any activist. (Perception is reality. Large organizations always prepare a worst-case scenario, something that may be furthest from the activists’ minds. The upshot is that the organization will expend enormous time and energy, creating in its own collective mind the direst of conclusions. The possibilities can easily poison the mind and result in demoralization.)
RULE 10: “If you push a negative hard enough, it will push through and become a positive.” Violence from the other side can win the public to your side because the public sympathizes with the underdog. (Unions used this tactic. Peaceful [albeit loud] demonstrations during the heyday of unions in the early to mid-20th Century incurred management’s wrath, often in the form of violence that eventually brought public sympathy to their side.)
RULE 11: “The price of a successful attack is a constructive alternative.” Never let the enemy score points because you’re caught without a solution to the problem. (Old saw: If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem. Activist organizations have an agenda, and their strategy is to hold a place at the table, to be given a forum to wield their power. So, they have to have a compromise solution.)
RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.” Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions. (This is cruel but very effective. Direct, personalized criticism and ridicule works.)
Newsom is clueless. He and his Lesbo pal, Karen Bass need to go on a jungle cruise to Africa and let the adults figure this out.
We (American patriots/conservatives) are up against a subversive group of traitors (democrats) whose aim is to enslave us.
“quite literally, disappearing”
Not sure Gavin understands the word literally.
The man is clearly mentally disturbed.
The amusing part of Newscum being such an out of touch soy boy loser is that he simply doesn’t see that he is so out of touch. 60% of America support Trump sending in the guard, probably more like 70%
You failed to mention June14th has been traditionally Flag Day.
Liberals live in a bubble of their own creation and anything or anyone outside that liberal bubble is ignored................
Re. Rule #5- this one seems to be pretty easy to turn around and use against them as they provide plenty of ammo for ridicule.
This Gavin Newsom’s last job he’s now nothing more then a party pimp with a long bad history.
In the 30 to 40 seconds that actually came through, Newsom spent the time bashing “King Trump” saying the July 14 Flag Day/US Army celebration is nothing more than forcing military men to perform for Trump’s birthday as dictators in corrupt countries do. Then the audio went south again.
*sigh*
Am I the only one who heard the true intent of his ‘speech’?
Maybe I need more sleep. /s
Heck, I didn’t know he even gave a speech until I ran across this article.....................
What President Trump is doing looks dangerous and radical to Newsom only because the situation in California has gotten completely out of hand and the majority of the people have forgotten what normal is.
Normal isn’t having a large percentage of the population here illegally and thereby allowing extra Congressional representation via the census.
True, but dyed-in-the-wool Communists-Marxists have no shame................
