I think the difference is in Trump’s first term with a Democrat Senate, Trump was unwilling to send in the National Guard without an invitation. That applied to states as well as to Nancy Pelosi and the Capital. He did make them look stupid by pointing out that he offered and they refused.
Now with a Republican Senate, Trump isn’t asking or waiting for an invite. And sending troops helps both his remove illegal aliens mission as well as identifying the paid agitators and their funding sources.
So bring on the troops.
