Disturbing allegations are coming to light about a federal employee forcing his pregnant girlfriend to have an abortion she didn't want.
Justin Banta, 38, faces an attempted capital murder charge in Tarrant County, where officials say he spiked his girlfriend's drink with 'Plan C', abortion-inducing pills, late last year.
Officials say it happened on October 16, 2024, at a coffee shop in Benbrook when Banta met his six-week pregnant girlfriend to discuss the pregnancy. According to an arrest affidavit, the woman said she "intended on keeping the baby" even though Banta had "encouraged her, and offered to help her get an abortion."
The affidavit says a sonogram the same day revealed the baby was healthy but that soon changed.
At the coffee shop hours later, the affidavit says Banta gave her a "drink he purchased prior to her arrival," which she finished.
The next day, the affidavit says she "began to experience pains, fatigue and continuous heavy bleeding," and later miscarried at her Parker County home

Special place in Hell awaits.
I saw this plot on one of the medical shows. Probably ER.
Her body, his choice. Lock him up.
I would say, that would be called 1st degree murder. He planed it and carried it out. Hang him! If this women wanted this child, how devastating this is be for her.
Sure he interesting to know both sides of this story.
"If a woman makes a unilateral decision to bring a pregnancy to term, and the biological father does not, and cannot, share in this decision, he should not be liable for 21 years of support... autonomous women making independent decisions about their lives should not expect men to finance their choice." - Karen DeCrow, former President of the National Organization for Women (NOW), telling the court in 1981 that her client should not be held to a child support order on the grounds that the mother had deceived him into the pregnancy by lying about taking the contraceptive pill.
The mother can't even argue he was practicing medicine without a license because he has the same argument she has when she claims "my body, my right" despite it being the child's body.
"I didn't give the drug to her; I gave it my child."
Yup, its all on who does or doesnt want the baby. Its not good law. Its wicked law.
“She lost a clump of cells”...pro-choicers.
You are insane.
Seriously. FR needs a block option. I don’t want to hear nutjobs like this or even know they exist.
Kinda difficult since the alleged perp is named but the alleged victim is not.
Insane? Go back and read that post again. Who's insane? Those in government and those who support them who set up that scenario or someone who calls it out?
The government created the scenario where one parent can decide to terminate the life of their child without facing criminal charges. Once crossing that line, the other parent would have the same right.
I didn't create that scenario. I simply exposed the brutally sick truth of crossing such lines.
He isn’t saying that it’s right, just that, that is the logical outworking of the pro abortion position.
Yes it is evil, but the US, like all other countries, is an evil place.

This guy was not as smart as he thought he was.
A local man took his pregnant girlfriend to a picnic. He shot and killed her. Our prosecutor charged him with two counts of murder: the girlfriend and the unborn child, which she had fully intended to keep. Following conviction, the sentence was two life sentences.
Sounds like MURDER...
I was thinking the same thing.
Ok, sorry I called you insane. It was presented as your thought.
