The news coming from CNN has not been good for Democrats lately.
As we reported on Sunday, even Democratic voters don't have any faith in where the party is headed. They don't think they are the party with strong leaders, and a vast majority of Democrats don't think their party is the one that can get things done. That followed a focus group survey that indicated the American public in general viewed them like "sloths" and "tortoises" when comparing them to animals. That's not exactly a sterling take for them.
Now CNN's senior data analyst Harry Enten has more bad news.
Ever since President Donald Trump took office for the second time, the media has been trying to bash him on the question of tariffs, and even predicting things like a recession. That caused the stock market to bounce around because people were concerned with all the doom-casting.
But even with all that, Enten's figures still had bad news for Democrats. He said you would expect Democrats would have a massive lead on the economy in the polling but "It ain't so!"

The real numbers are probably better for Trump than these biased polls indicate.
News media is stupid. American people aren’t.
Trump is not on the ballot.

But he only has to campaign really hard for just a few GOP candidates.

I am sure Trump and his people are working hard on which GOP seats to fight for and how to go about it.

I’m jaded, I’m putting the odds at over 50%. We’ll need Graham to say that we’re “going to cut out that pesky social security once and for all followed closely by medicare”. Or maybe pull out a “Once we’re done with all the illegals, we’re going to deport all the pot smokers!” claim. Or maybe trot out something about “Removing women’s right to vote”, or “Round up all the gays and put them in camps”. Something just overtly aimed at making sure they lose the midterms.
