I don’t think it’s the taxpayers responsibility to pay taxes in order for the government to pay out billions of dollars in grants for scientists at Universities or clinics. That’s what part of the schools tuition should be paying for. Our government has forgotten what their job is supposed to be and instead throwing money all over the world for their own enrichment.

We would LOVE to see a list of the degrees of these "scientists," what they were researching, titles of their research projects, what they proposed to receive grants. Here is a smattering of woke and useless crap these "professors" were probably doing. Good riddance! Replace them with engineering and true science people.

One is a “neuroscientist,” who’s applied for jobs in Canada and France.

The other is “studying how children develop race and gender stereotypes,” who says “I’m not sure of my next move.”

Safe to say that over the decades of $ from the U.S. government any cures that were found were squashed;as the customer base for the profitable maintenance drugs for anything kept the medical ball rolling. Sad,far to many who make the decisions do it for monetary gain as opposed to the original mission. I see it as another form of make - work with the majority of these programs. If they are of any real value the Universities with endowments would fund them.

Much of that research is garbage, paid for by our tax dollars. Let’s stop paying “scientists” to study whether coffee is killing us or if it’s a wonderful benefit, for the two-hundredth time.
