President Donald Trump used a White House meeting to confront South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, accusing his country of failing to address the killing of white farmers.
"People are fleeing South Africa for their own safety," said Trump, who at one point dimmed the lights in the Oval Office to play a video of a communist politician playing a controversial anti-apartheid song that includes lyrics about killing a farmer.
"Their land is being confiscated and in many cases they're being killed."
Ramaphosa, who sat quietly watching these videos, pushed back against Trump's accusation.
"I'd like to know where that is because this I've never seen" these videos, he said.
The South African leader had sought to use the meeting to set the record straight and salvage his country's relationship with the United States.
The bilateral relationship is at its lowest point since South Africa enforced its apartheid system of racial segregation, which ended in 1994.

I call BS on his statement. It’s either a lie or he is terribly informed on his own country.
NBC tried to sidetrack Trump with the question about the Qatari 747. Trump hammered the reporter, but later rambled about the Qatari jet and AF1. That was a mistake, and now the press is dwelling on Ramaphosa’s silly (probably rehearsed) comment instead of Trump confronting him with evidence of genocide.
My guess would be that he lies with a smile daily. There’s NO WAY he doesn’t know about some of this.
Since Mandela/Socialist ANC, thousands of whites are injured, dead, raped. Land taken. Blacks are driving SA back to the stone age.
Death and vultures hang over the ruined country of South Africa. That is: death to white farmers who are the descendants of the original peoples who settled SA over 500 years ago.
What they honed out of this part of Africa was close to a paradise on earth both for the white settlers and the aboriginal people.
I was there before the takeover by communist mau mau thugs who began a reign of terror. With the exception of Soweto which was inhabited by those crossing the SA border in search of work.
If one could take a poll of those living today in SA I believe the overwhelming majority would go for reversing this ungodly mess.

Our MSM is more worried about one abortion clinic bombing 30 years ago which they will surely mention no less than 12 times this year. When is the glorified and sugar coated version of Nelson Mandela’s life (an unrepentant terrorist) going to be put in a Hollywood movie?
Apartheid was originally sold as keeping the distinct European and African societies apart from each other as they were incompatible. Each could develop in their own way.
But blacks then were used for cheap labor, brought into the white cities, and then sent back at night to their shanty towns.
And as they say, “How are you going to keep them down on the farm after they’ve seen Par-ee?”
They’ll all starve just like in Zimbabwe
