Kash Patel: New Bombshell Evidence Proves Comey’s Team Buried FBI Documents
Daily Fetched ^ | May 19, 2025 | Staff

FBI Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino have weighed in on their efforts to restore trust in the agency and deliver transparency related to key investigations such as Crossfire Hurricane.

During an appearance on Fox News, Maria Bartiromo asked Patel about his plans to rebuild public confidence in the FBI and remove political bias from operations.

“So, we have a multi-part process,” Patel responded.

“First of all, our priorities — simple: crush violent crime, defend the homeland, rigorous organizational accountability, and the fourth — aggressive constitutional oversight with Congress.”

According to Patel, empowering the FBI’s rank-and-file agents and analysts is part of restoring trust.

“What we need America to know is that this place was politicized,” he said.

“Congress has rightfully requested the documents from Crossfire Hurricane to January 6 to the Richmond Catholic memo and so much more… and now, finally, Americans are reading for themselves the documentation.”

Patel named former officials, including James Comey, Andrew McCabe, and Peter Strzok, stating, “They intentionally failed the American public by putting on the biggest D.C. deception game we’ve ever seen.”

He went on to accuse them of misleading the public and misusing taxpayer resources in order to get Trump.

Bartiromo pressed Patel about the lack of accountability for former officials, and Patel said, “Comey, Strzok, and the rest—they’ve got TV shows, they’ve got media platforms, they’re fine. There’s been no accountability.”

Patel responded, “It’s a fair criticism… Most of these statutes of limitations are five years old. And we will investigate criminal conduct where we find a righteous case to do so… but a lot of it we’re precluded from.”

Patel emphasized that while criminal charges may not be possible in all cases, the focus remains on transparency and public awareness.

“We can put out the documents and the information that these people withheld from the American public,” he said.

He revealed that he and Dan Bongino had recently uncovered additional documents related to Crossfire Hurricane that even he, as a former lead investigator in Congress, had not seen before.

“We are continuing to work with Congress to put those documents out,” Patel said.

“They withheld and hid documentation and put it in rooms where people weren’t supposed to look.”

When Bartiromo asked for clarification, Patel confirmed the discovery of new material and internal efforts to hide it.

“Yes. I was a lead Russiagate investigator for the House Intelligence Committee… and I’m telling you and the American public that we have now found material and information and people who wanted to hide it from the world since we got in these seats.”

Patel stated that new disclosures could be released within “a week or two.”

Bongino echoed the importance of managing public expectations but stressed their commitment to full accountability.

The current FBI leadership has committed to ongoing document releases and cooperation with Congress to ensure transparency regarding past politically sensitive investigations.

Almost any statute of limitations can be “tolled”.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tolling_(law)

Here is the key:

“Equitable tolling is a common principle of law stating that a statute of limitations shall not bar a claim in cases where the plaintiff, despite use of due diligence, could not or did not discover the injury until after the expiration of the limitations period.”

If criminals hide the evidence so that it cannot be found until after the statute of limitations then that nullifies the statute of limitations.

That's NOT what I'm looking for.

Statute of Limitations usually starts at the time of discovery of the problem/crime/tort. Not sure one way or other if it applies to Federal crimes.

He’s full of crap. None of his reforms hold the the J6 scum accountable. He promoted the architect of labeling Catholics and parents as terrorists.

He just wants a couple of trophies like Strozk and Comey and move on as BAU. The place is an un-American stasi.

The first thing I would have done is identify every agent involved in raids on Trump and supporters like Roger Stone.

Then fire them.

Next, J6 agents.

When Germany was conquered, the Gestapo was disbanded. Individual agents may have been hired by the successor states of West and East Germany, but no one with any authority. A reunified Germany disbanded the Stasi. The Soviets eliminated the Tsarist Okhrana. The Irish disbanded the Royal Irish Constabulary upon leaving the UK. If there is to be a thorough cleansing of the American Deep State, the FBI, the premier Federal equivalent to the Gestapo, the Stasi, the Okhrana, and the Royal Irish Constabulary must meet the same fate. In their concession to the narrative that Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide, Kash Patel and Dan Bongino have bent the knee to the Deep State. At best, they may go after James Comey, who unlike other members of the intelligence cabal is stupid enough not to lay low.

We do need Law Enforcement Agencies that do what the FBI does.

But it should be at least two agencies with clearly delineated areas of responsibility.

One would cover counter espionage of foreign nations within our borders.

The other would be enforcement of federal law. I would suggest that this agency should be subordinate to State and local Law Enforcement agencies for execution of search warrents and arrest warrents.

With regard to enforcement of Federal law, this could be the role of an expanded Marshals Service, which does not seem to be as corrupt and leftist infested as the FBI. Individual FBI and ATF agents, if they are not affiliated with leftist groups or ideology and are clean from a financial standpoint could be rehired on a low level basis. Counter espionage could be handled by military intelligence, which is where that aspect of national security was handled prior to the rise of the FBI.

He didn’t even do that. He’s either an idiot who thinks he can fix communists or he’s there to protect these traitors. He looks like a fool talking about how great the FBI is.

She says that as if Patel was in office for the past 4 years. Give him some time, and realize that the statute of limitations has run so in this case, there may not be too much that can be done other than full disclosure.

“Precluded from…”.

Bullshit. You can investigate anything you want . You can then publicize the result…at the very damn least.

“Most of these statutes of limitations are five years old.”

Has he bothered to actually SEE FOR HIMSELF as to whether the above is true. Where I live, it’s 10 years or above for just about anything beyond a parking ticket. Hard to believe that the feds let you slide for FELONIES after only 5 years.

Restore trust in the agency? That is going to be one hell of a job, if not impossible. First they need to get rid of employees dedicated to the democrat party and such principles. That mindset is likely ingrained in 99% of the workforce.

The second part is getting the public to believe they deserve the public trust. There’s a long history of federal law enforcement acting like thugs. Shooting an innocent woman at Ruby Ridge comes to mind. Burning alive innocent women and children at Waco comes to mind. The false persecution of Richard Jewell also happened. Then on to the big stuff all associated with Russia Russia Russia. It’s topped off with the false imprisonment of J6’ers when real tyrants run free.

To many people the thoughts of a fed going anywhere near them brings the same fears the Germans had when the Gestapo came around or fears the Russians had when the KGB showed up.

It seems that States like NY seem to have no problem extending the statute of limitations long after it has expired.

Give them time to get it right. It does no good to rush it and have it dismissed.
