Leaders of Utah's capital city voted to add three new city flags, all incorporating designs not allowed through a new state flag law, to sidestep the measure hours before it goes into law. Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall unveiled three new city flag designs to members of the Salt Lake City Council Tuesday evening, as she explained how the city plans to move forward in the wake of HB77 on the eve of the bill becoming law. The new flags would add the sego lily logo from Salt Lake City's city flag to the Juneteenth, Progress Pride and transgender flags. All three flags were not included in the list of flags approved to be flown outside of government or in schools. The new flags would not replace the city's primary flag, which was adopted in 2020.

I’m confused. Is SPL city Mormon? Did Mormons enlist in the Rainbow Alphabet Coalition? Are their Mormons here or n FR? Or am I supposed to use the term LDS?
Salt Lake City has not been a Mormon city for many, many years, it is a liberal cesspool. However, the state legislature regularly passes laws to try and contain these lunatics.
And there are so many other traitors to the United States for whom we need to have a similar celebration.
And here I thought that the Mormons ran that state................
Mormons have a reputation for being generally conservative because of their environment (modest housing costs, federal government as adversarial landlord) and their demographics (very white). There is nothing particular about the Mormon faith which makes them immune to the ravages of Satan against God’s church, and in fact, there is a long history of compromising their doctrine to be politically acceptable; it’s just in their case that compromise was often in the direction conservatives approve (monogamy, racial equality, etc.).
The recent history of Mormons in the U.S. government is pretty bad: Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, Democrat Senate Leader Harry Reid, Republican friend-of-Ted-Kennedy Orrin Hatch, Republican-turned-Biden and pro-gay activist Democrat Rep. Jeff Flake, Democrat Senator Tom Udall. Libertarian-leaning Senator Mike Lee (R-Utah) is probably the only “real” Republican Mormon ever elected to anything statewide.
And the Salt Lake City Mormon Newspaper, the Deseret News, is a wasteland of liberalism. The secular alternative, the Salt Lake Tribune, is just as bad.
Romney is LDS...

The Left ruins everything it touches.
The good Utah news is that real MAGA conservatism runs strong in large majority of voters.
