Nearly 2,000 residents packed a weekend town hall on Long Island with Dem Maryland Rep. Jamie Raskin — a rare in-person political forum in a deep-red county where GOPers have been avoiding such events.
The massive turnout was so high that an overflow center was needed for the main site, the Patchogue Theater — and highlighted the growing frustration of Suffolk County residents who say they’ve been left in the dark by their Republican reps.
“My friends, we are being governed by morons,” Raskin, a constitutional lawyer, told the crowd. “But the more difficult the struggle, the more glorious the victory.

BS - they did this in my state too. If the GOP rep gives a town hall they spike the meeting with paid Soros plants that disrupt the entire meeting and then the press runs “constituents are angry with GOP’ers”
If the rep doesn’t give a town hall then the DNC reps from ANOTHER area go to the GOP precinct and give a town hall, staffed with the same paid protesters who cheer the “brave DNC’er” on.
Meanwhile no DNC reps give townhalls in their failing blue areas.

How does the author know that the 2000 attendees are “residents” of the county? My guess is that Dems can travel to Rankor’s rallies by car, bus, and train. What a shock that 2000 leftists showed up. Rankin and the Dems want to goad Republicans into holding events so the Dems can send in agitators to embarrass them.
Patchogue is a few miles down Montauk highway from where I’m typing this. Totally phony put up job. The Patchogue theater is an old movie theater. How massive does something have to be to overload a 1950s movie theater? Based on the sentiment I encounter in this area I’d guess that a huge number of attendees were demonrat shills. Hell, the speaker was from elsewhere.
