Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton launched an investigation to determine if toothpaste that contains fluoride is being illegally marketed to kids.
While the recommended dosage of toothpaste says no more than a pea-sized smear or a drop the size of a kernel of rice should be used, Paxton says toothpaste manufacturers continue to flavor their products and deceptively market them in ways that encourage kids to ingest more than the safe and recommended amount of fluoride toothpaste. Now the attorney general wants to know if kids are ingesting too much fluoride based on how toothpaste is advertised to children.

Thank you very much and God bless you.
I always used more than a pea-sized drop as a kid. Maybe that’s why I’m CRRRRAAAAAAZYYYYY!!!
If you’re swallowing that much toothpaste, you’ve probably got bigger issues. Paxton seems like he’s taking a page from the tobacco litigation, and I’m not sure it’s a good look.

Sodium fluoride-laced toothpaste was hailed and the singular best way of introducing the KNOWN biologic poison to the general public. Think of it, no longer necessary to take the kids in for a yearly dental exam for tooth decay, it was a miracle of Madison Avenue advertising executives.
So long as the sodium fluoride remains on the tooth surfaces, and is incorporated into the dental enamel, it does not pose a problem, but kids end up SWALLOWING some of the chemical, where it gets into the bloodstream, and does all its mischief.
Since there are more than 17 million permutations, it will take some time.....

This is stupid....going after drinking water with fluoride added is what is needed.
They mean to sap and impurify our precious bodily fluids!
Fluoridation is the most monstrously conceived and dangerous communist plot we have ever had to face.

You mean a toothpaste with fluoride on the label has….fluoride?
Paxton is on the ball with this one.
I can no longer sit back and allow Communist infiltration, Communist indoctrination, Communist subversion and the international Communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids. — Gen. Ripper

I remember as a kid seeing TV commercials for toothpaste where they showed an insanely large amount, sometimes even double-layered, over the entire length of the bristles.
I figure they were trying to have you use up the tube that much faster so you had to buy more.
