Howdy, PRO.

How’s your week going so far?

Been a busy one here, and hot. I managed to get everything mowed the past four days and tomorrow I hunker down while storms roll through.

Howdy, luvie. Nice that it was cooler there today.
Not so nice that your heat came over here. LOL

Hey there, radu!

Oopsie! Sorry ‘bout that, but it WAS nice especially since I’ve been doing some spring cleaning and who needs sweat at this time of year. LOL!

Did you get the rest of that mowing done or did the heat do you in early?

AC is for keeping cool while doing spring cleaning. LOL

No AC outside but at least there was a stiff wind that helped a little. I got everything done and I waited until LATE afternoon to do it. Got out a little earlier today since there are so many trees in the other yard. No shade over here or along the driveway.
I’m paying for it now. Four days in a row has my back very cranky. I normally mow one day, take a break the next day, then mow some more the day after that. But I had to get it all done before tomorrow’s rain and storms. After the rain last week, the grass went wild.

I’m glad there’s nothing that needs to be done tomorrow. I’ll be happy if I can get out of the bed. LOL

Oh yeah...AC! Who’d a’ thunk it! LOL! It WAS on, but it was cool enough today not to need it, thankfully. The electricity bill skyrockets when we have to start using it 24/7.

I’ll bet it feels good...though the back is screaming at you...to have all that mowing done. I’ll bet it looks so nice. Now let that rain come! I hope that the brace plus your trusty heating pad will take care of a lot of the pain by tomorrow or at least the next day.

I’ve had my AC going for a couple of weeks or so. Not set real cold or anything but it helps keep humidity down in the house. That alone keeps it more comfortable.

It’s VERY nice to have it all mowed. It really looked bad, being so shaggy. It’ll be shaggy again next week and I’ll do it all over again. We have rain in the forecast the next three days. Looks like the first round will be here a lot sooner than predicted since it’s already in TN. Unless it stalls out for a bit, it’ll be here a lot sooner than late tomorrow afternoon. There’s also some rain coming up from AL that’ll be here real soon.

That back brace is the only reason I can walk tonight. LOL It does help a lot while I mow.

I’m tempted to get one of those back braces for when I do housecleaning. Bending over is my downfall and has been for decades. I wonder if it would help with that.

Will rain coming in from two directions stir up trouble in the way of bad storms? Or will they hit at different times?

A very pleasant good Thursday morning and ((HUGS)) to everyone at the Canteen and to all our military at home and abroad. Thanks for your service to our country.

We didn't get to go to the lakes yesterday due to all of the flooding from the storms on Tuesday and Wednesday. However, I did get to go to Sonic for our supper.

Gizmo chilled out in the guest room while we waited for the roads to clear out from the floodwaters.

We'll see how things go today. We plan on doing Chisolm Trail Park later today.

How's everyone doing this morning?
