NM-2 in southern and southeastern NM (oil/natural gas rich) used to be solidly Pub but the Demonrats who control everything in this state gerrymandered the district by placing conservative Hobbs north into Roosevelt County into NM-3, the same district as the Navajo and Apache tribes in northwest NM along the AZ and CO state lines. In return they moved ABQ's poor Hispanic South Valley into NM-2.

Part of me would love it if lightning would strike someone like him when he brags about the evil he has done, in voting against that law. Then I remember that if God did that, He would also then be justified striking down the rest of us for our many sins, even the smallest infraction. No, He is merciful and long suffering with us all, having sent Jesus to pay for our sins, and giving us every opportunity to repent and avail ourselves of eternal mercy before we die. God is not mocked; this man, and we, shall reap what we sow; the repentant to Glory, and the unrepentant to Hell. Some think that warning applies to our lives here on earth; maybe, but then we see the innocent child who has never sinned, being aborted or violated and killed. What evil did they sow? Would that this evil man repent, because if he does not, he is bound for Hell. Earthly laws do not presently affect such as he.
