Karoline Leavitt Refuses to Rule Out Arrest of Supreme Court Judges
Yahoo News ^ | 04/28/2025 | Malcolm Ferguson

Posted on 04/28/2025 12:12:09 PM PDT by Responsibility2nd

The Trump administration is open to arresting Supreme Court judges, as White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told it on Monday morning.

“You guys arrested a Milwaukee County Circuit judge for allegedly helping illegal immigrants get away,” Fox News’s Peter Doocy asked Leavitt. “As you guys look at other judges, would you ever arrest somebody higher up on the judicial food chain, like a federal judge or even a Supreme Court justice?”

“That’s a hypothetical question, again I defer you to the Department of Justice for individuals that they are looking at or individual cases. But let’s be clear about what this judge did: She obstructed federal law enforcement who were looking for an illegal alien in her courthouse. She showed that illegal alien the door to evade law enforcement officials. That is a clear-cut case of obstruction,” Leavitt replied.

“And so anyone who is breaking the law or obstructing federal law enforcement officials from doing their jobs is putting theirselvses at risk of being prosecuted, absolutely.”

This headline just shows how slanted the news can be. I’m sure it’s intended to get clicks, but for the vast majority of lazy Yahoo users, they see a headline like this and think Trump is going to war with the Supreme Court.

I don’t doubt that should probable cause be found there is no shortage of Americans who would not object to the arrest and conviction of Roberts.

The Supreme Court takes action against the President all the time. Turnabout should be fair play. I say SWAT them every so often. It would reinforce the balance of powers.

What a biased and ridiculous take by this idiot writer about what Leavitt said. He makes it sound like Trump is going after Supreme Court judges. Remember the mantra that noone is above the law. Well, guess to the writer judges are even when they break the law. They should be held to a higher standard, not lower one. Also, he continues the Left mantra that Trump is ignoring the law and judicial orders without identifying a single instance or one that is claimed that is accurate. The press in this country, especially Yahoo are scum, liars and intellectually dishonest.

They wanted to throw Trump in jail but SC justices are above the law?

Nobody had a problem arresting a president. Congressmen have been arrested. Why is a Supreme Court judge sacred above all the rest?

Roberts for example is a human trafficker.

As it should be. No person is above arrest or investigation if they do something to warrant it. As many on the courts and leadership have.

She also did not rule out packing the Supreme Court with trans-dimensional elves that ride dragons.

As the left always remind everyone when they talk about Trump:
“Nobody is above the law”
Of course, as has already been mentioned, HRC appears to be.

They tried numerous times to have President Trump thrown in jail…. Why should a SC justice be exempt if they break the law?

Go Karoline, Go.

She could have given a weaselly answer, but she is speaking for a leader who doesn’t give weaselly answers.

Clowns like Faux News Peter Douchey was fishing for a sound byte.

I guess he got one.

If Supreme Court Justices have been or are engaging in sedition, any who have done or are doing so should be arrested, tried, and convicted.
