Secretary of State Marco Rubio denied claims that three minor U.S. citizens, all under ten years old – and one with stage IV cancer, were deported without due process, calling the accusations "misleading."
The Washington Post reported that three American citizens from two different families, aged two, four and seven, were deported along with their mothers from a Louisiana facility on Friday. The report alleged that the four-year-old child is suffering from stage-4 cancer and that the mother had no way of contacting their doctors, according to the family’s lawyer. Rubio pushed back against the claims that the children were deported, instead asserting that the children’s mothers, who were not in the country legally, opted to take their children with them.
"That’s a misleading headline. Three U.S. citizens, aged 4, 7 and 2 were not deported. Their mothers were legally deported, and the children went with their mothers. They can come back to their father or someone who wants to assume them. Ultimately, it was the mothers who were here illegally. You guys make it sound like ICE kicked down the door and grabbed the child and threw them on an airplane, and it’s misleading and that is not true," Rubio said.

Since when are we giving “dew” process to toddlers and infants. They don’t even know what “dew” process is. If they wanted it, they should have brought it with them from their home country. Instead, according to all the far left, sleazy shysters, they brought cancer with them instead.

I was going to ask where the father was when all this was happening, because if he had offered to keep the kids here they would not have gone with their mother. Did the father and mother live together here? If the father has standing to sue he must be here, so why didn’t he do anything before the mom took the kids with her?
We have seen that done. By the Clinton administration. A little boy had a machine gun put in his face and was then thrown on a plane back to Cuba. Elián González. He's grown up to be a Communist official there.

If the mother REALLY cared about the child who (it is alleged) has cancer, the U.S. government offered to make sure the child was cared for inside the USA by reliable guardians and any “doctor” needed, THE MOTHER SHOULD HAVE DONE WHAT WAS BEST FOR THE CHILD and allowed the child to remain in the U.S. for care and cancer treatment.
This is all part of the gigantic scam of illegally trespassing into the USA and thinking you will get away with it forever.
This is about using every lie and trick possible to invade our nation.
Democrats don’t want Cuban immigrant here. They tend to vote republican although I don’t know what percentage.
Biden opening the floodgates on the southern border was intended to bring in future democrat voters, and also probably a part of the cloward-piven strategy to eventually overload the welfare state and create an opening for socialist reforms.
And thus, the parents have only themselves to blame.
Hopefully there is some kind of consent form that the mothers signed, confirming that they were keeping custody of their kids rather than letting them stay in the US with a different relative.
But if there are such consent forms the judge is out of line saying there is no reason to believe the government’s claims that the mothers chose to take the kids with them. I suppose it could be that the lawyers didn’t tell that part of the story and actually lied about what happened.
If there are such consent forms the government should charge the lawyers with obstruction of justice for lying to the judge about what happened.
I am sure our gov’t did offer care for the sick child but have not seen that reported. Do you have a site that reported it?

Trump just needs to draw attention to Red Flag laws and demand they be cancelled and repealed in Michigan, California, Illinois, etc.

the media screamed and cried when illegal alien parents were separated from their children. So Trump keeps them together at the mothers request, and ... of course! the media screams and cries that the child was kept with its mother who was deported!
Just once, instead of saying “that’s a misleading headline” I’d love to hear “That’s a bald-faced lie - here are the facts”.
Rubio should simply start quoting Lanny Davis: “Where’s the poof?”
Just like Elian Gonzales, the child needs to be with the parent. If parent is deported, child goes with the parent.
