ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS

Most of us become familiar with the Golden Rule, "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you," fairly early in our childhood days. Significant others, who happen to be adults, seem to stumble over themselves in being the historic "first" to teach the young child this bit of wisdom. Hmmmmmmm, I stumbled upon a quote for those of us who are adults with a burning desire to pass the Golden Rule on to our young children of today:

"We have committed the Golden Rule to memory; let us now commit it to life."

It rained all day today!

Sis and I went to a couple of Open Houses, and had to sit out a veritable MONSOON before going in.

Saw four houses, none of which were appropriate.

Oh Well.

Tomorrow is another day.

Did some painting in the master Bedroom today too...One Wall at a time.

And we are about to beg for rain...Thursday on my way home from an appointment I got stuck behind the first sight this year of the street sweepers
...a water truck, 6 to 10 sweepers, and several accompanying trucks. They needed 10 water trucks...the dust kicked up was horrible!!

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

Is it done raining? If not, please send us all you don’t want. They hinted at some rain today, but it’s been sunny off and on at my house.

Howdy, Kathy.

It’s warming up nicely up there. The lake is looking a bit ugly as the ice melts and starts breaking up a little. One warm, windy day and it’ll disappear fast. That’ll make ducks happy. LOL A few are already starting to hang around, waiting for open water to swim in. Maybe your backyard crowd will thin out soon. :-)

No rain here today, thank goodness! It was still a bit cloudy but there was sunshine, and a breeze. That’s needed to dry the grass.
I’m keeping tabs on a big wet system over AR, hoping that isn’t going to come here tomorrow.

Once again, you seem to be in a donut hole. Rain all around. MAYBE some will move over Anchorage.
