A law enforcement person is going to get killed in one of these situations. Instead of a controlled turnover of the criminal, they’re letting them loose and creating a danger to the criminal and law enforcement plus it may take several LEOs to get control of the individual vs 1-2 if its a controlled environment and tying up law enforcement officers. I’ll guarantee you this judge makes sure she has an armed LEO in her courtroom before she sits on the bench.
