~ The FReeper Canteen Presents ~ ~ Remembering Our Troops!! ~
Prepare For Everything!! The ability to respond to a mass casualty event is a core mission of the 31st MEU that requires rapid response to effectively recover and triage military or civilian casualties by supplementing the medical resources at the scene. The America Amphibious Ready Group (ARG), compromising amphibious assault carrier USS America (LHA 6), amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22), and amphibious dock landing ship USS Rushmore (LSD 47) along with the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), are underway conducting routine integrated operations in U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations. U.S. 7th Fleet is the U.S. Navy’s largest forward- deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operated with allies and partners to preserve a free and open Indo-Pacific region. Howdy, luvie.
Did it warm up nicely today or end up too hot?
Turned out to be a nice day here. Started out cool and windy but it warmed up and the wind calmed down enough to get the last of the mowing done. YAY! Good timing since we might get some rain showers tomorrow.

Hey there, radu!
It warmed up quite a bit. Got up to 88 and should be about 95 tomorrow. I’m gritting my teeth knowing that this is the norm from now till October. Unfortunately.
Glad it was nice enough for you to get that mowing finished. With rain coming next, it’s going to be gorgeous afterward. I hope the pollen wasn’t too overwhelming.

Ugh! Too hot for April. Its going to be a loooooong summer for y’all. :-(
Not much chance for rain next week at this point. There’s a little moving into TN now that might give us a shower or two tomorrow. Maybe something Sunday night, they say.
I’ll have to mow again next week because the grass is already getting long again along the driveway. The grass here grows fast and it’s thick.
The pollen didn’t seem TOO bad today. Maybe the high wind the past two days blew it all out of the trees.

It is....and it is. *mega-sigh* I just wish I could accept it stoically like other people do. I move into summer kickin’ an’ screamin’. LOL!
Man, your grass really does grow fast. No wonder you have Champ. Otherwise, you’d never be able to keep up with it. I’m glad the pollen wasn’t so bad while you were out there.

The yard at this house isn’t too bad but it grows back fairly past. Along the driveway is crazy because of the front fields right next to it. Rain runoff carries some of the fertilizer that’s put on the fields each year, and the grass is growing in VERY healthy soil after 100+ years of that. LOL
Guess I need to get a move on. Republican women’s meeting in the morning so I need to get things done before hitting the sack.
Have a good rest of the night.
