April 3 (Reuters) - The World Economic Forum founder Klaus Schwab, will "start the process" of stepping down as chair of its board of trustees, a spokesperson for the Geneva-based institution told Reuters on Thursday. Schwab said the forum, which convenes annual gatherings in the Swiss resort of Davos, must recover its "sense of mission" after a period of turmoil, the Financial Times first reported, citing a letter to trustee board members and confirmation by two people with knowledge of the situation.

“What is essential now after the turmoil of the last months, is to recover our sense of mission,” he said, without specifying if the upheaval he was referring to was in response to Donald Trump’s second presidential term or an investigation of the WEF, the report added.

Now that Trump defunded the WEF, Klaus’ work is done.
One does have to admire his ‘success’:
1. Europe is well on its way towards reaching a level of poverty last endured during the Dark Ages, thanks to it’s Green New Deal.
2. Europe is also well on its way to being the Islamic Caliphate.
3. Europe has also now closed-off political dissent to a level that would make Stalin blush.
4. The US now has a psychotic class of female voters who have college degrees.
Well done, Charles. You may not live to see the day (old age, of course), but Europe as the world knew it for about 1000 years will soon be wiped off the planet.
It's really too bad he didn't fall down a few flights of steps.
