The Colorado Senate commemorated Transgender Day of Visibility on Monday with a resolution on the chamber floor, but Democrats want to do more than just talk. Colorado Capitol News Alliance
They’re also proposing new protections for trans people.
“Transgender Coloradans are part of the fabric of our communities. They are parents, students, care givers, faith leaders and neighbors,” said one of the resolution’s sponsors Sen. Lisa Cutter, a Jefferson County Democrat. “They experience elevated levels of poverty, discrimination and violence.”

Wow just wow, does peyote grow wild in Colorado?
“They experience elevated levels of poverty, discrimination and violence.”
It’s blue. Let em’ have their fun.
I support the Dems in working to continue destroying their brand.
No controlling legal authority to coerce others to agree with someone’s obvious mental illness.
When you start giving extra protections to a particular group, you make it harder for them in numerous ways. The Americans with disabilities act probably caused much more unemployment that would otherwise have been the case as they could suddenly sue using government lawyers. The companies I worked at, who were incentivized to hire blacks, really cut way back when suddenly they could claim discrimination and sue using government lawyers. Sure, a lot of them got rich. Many more never got the chance to work.
I’m looking at the senate map for ‘26 and ‘28. It looks good for us. It appears our only tough race will be Johnson(Wi.-’28). How this Mandela fella could come within 7k votes of winning suggests the cheating on Milwaukee was on overdrive. It does not bode well for today’s special election.
Tom Tillis may lose in NC.
Poverty = Can't qualify for the Uber Eats payment plan.
Discrimination = Can't abide by the "no beards" policy for Hooter's waitresses.
Violence = "silence".
I believe they were the first state to issue a tax stamp for illegal pot back in the day.
It’s that Rocky Mountain High.
““They experience elevated levels of poverty, discrimination and violence.””
It is because they are mentally ill, violent, and unemployable.
**Tom Tillis may lose in NC.**
You got that right. Primary opponents don’t work. Too cowardly. Then they have to give their wholehearted support in the general-not deserved.
Cassidy in La. Impeachment vote. Will the Cajuns show what karma is?
There is no such thing as a transgender!
People either have a penis or a vagina.
End of discussion. Take your mental health issues elsewhere.
Satan never rests.
Good grief! Taxpayers in Colorado are really into trouble.
"The freaks can have their 'Transgender Day of Visibility' anywhere they want - so long as it's in their closets".
Decoder ring: “protections” means unconstitutional power over others.
