President Donald Trump on Tuesday defended National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, a day after it was revealed that he added the editor-in-chief of Atlantic magazine to a chat group where top US national security officials discussed plans about attacking the Houthis in Yemen earlier this month.

The President further stated that the outcome of the March 15 airstrikes, which he called “perfectly successful,” was not affected at all following the inclusion of journalist Jeffrey Goldberg in a Signal group. The group also included Vice President JD Vance, Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.

It’s the President’s call!!
"the only glitch"
Canary trap, indeed.
Cheney crime family.
Waltz and his crew report to them.
Trump won’t whack him now, but he won’t be around come the fall.
President Trump: “it was the ‘only glitch in two months’ following his presidency, ‘and it turned out not to be a serious one.’”
Case closed.
That implies he did something wrong, which I belive is the wrong message to be sending right now.
Waltz has seemed overly pro Ukraine and maybe that provides some balance, provided it is made very clear to him who he works for. It may be the only thing that saves him.
Ditto Rubio.
The Wisikoff guy is the only one who actually has gotten results, with the energy infrastructure ceasefire agreed by both sides.
Why don't the feds use the secret places to discuss secret stuff.
How sloppy are other cabinet members when discussing secrets?
The President has to lay down the law as to what is acceptable communications for gummint secrets {and he needs to stick to them, also}.
Slow joe didn't know anything, but along with all of the openness of Trump's people, they are too chatty about too many things and there are too many talking about stuff they shouldn't.
Trump is playing it right.
Trump MUST acknowledge the FACTS otherwise he looks like a clueless Biden.
Secondly, accountability MUST be taken and that falls to Waltz and his crew who in my view likely did it on purpose.
Thirdly, I think Elite Stream Media was trying to play it as Hegseth's fault because they see him as more of pure Trumper than Waltz who has ties to the neocon trash.
It was a pretty big mistake. And secondly, why in the world are we including the corrupt media in ANY chats.
So Waltz was in the habit of chatting with an Atlantic Journalist on Signal
WHY?
The Atlantic is one of those deep-state rags which almost no Americans have heard of and even fewer read, and which is full of CIA and deep-state hacks
I thought it was common knowledge that Waltz was one of Cheney's.
I will speculate on this.
Counterterrorism is code for the Patriot Act.
It was not an accident. It was a test.
Yes you try on a pair of shoes before you buy them.
RE: That implies he did something wrong, which I belive is the wrong message to be sending right now.
But if it was REALLY something wrong that they did, the right thing to do would be to come clean and admit it, learn from it, and work on not allowing this to happen again.
Yeah, 4D chess or sumptim
