When a group of citizens searching for missing relatives in the western state of Jalisco arrived at a remote ranch outside Mexico's second-largest city last week on an anonymous tip, all they had to do was push open the unlocked gate.
Inside they went to work with simple tools — picks, shovels and metal bars — doing the work that state investigators supposedly had done six months earlier.
What they found embarrassed state authorities and shook Mexico: dozens of shoes, heaps of clothing and what appeared to be human bone fragments. Distraught families from across the country have already started reaching out about clothing items they say they recognize.
It was a shocking reminder of Mexico's more than 120,000 disappeared and enough to push the federal government to take over the troubled investigation. A "training base" for cartel recruits
The ranch in Teuchitlan, about 37 miles west of Guadalajara was allegedly being used as a training base for cartel recruits when National Guard troops found it last September.
Authorities then said 10 people were arrested, two hostages were freed and a body was found wrapped in plastic. The state prosecutor's office went in with a backhoe, dogs and devices to find inconsistencies in the ground.
But then the investigation went quiet until members of the Jalisco Search Warriors, one of dozens of search collectives that dot Mexico, visited the site last week on a tip.
They found the shoes, as well as heaps of other clothing and what appeared to be burned bone fragments.
Members of the search collective were back at the site Thursday, invited to observe authorities as they worked to register evidence and search the property.

The few remaining good and patriotic forces within Mexico know what must be done. They need to find the courage to do it. Yes, it will mean civil war, but they will have a powerful helper in the present US Administration. It will allow both nations to eliminate many of their present issues.

Judge Baosman of the DC Federal District Court wants the perpetrators sent to America - so they can go on welfare and medicaid.
Mexico also has prohibited ownership of firearms. Just what the Left has wanted for the U.S.. California wanted to pass a law making it a felony if a homeowner shot a person breaking into their home and threatening them. Fortunately Reform CALif. backed it down.
If this state isn’t reformed it’s going the way the anti-U.S. Mexican political groups have been wanting.
I don’t believe the prison in El Salvador is big enough to house all the perps we are sending them. They should begin sending them to Bikini Island where we used to test atom bombs. It is NOT possible to reform them. We should not have to house them and pay to take care of them the rest of their lives.

I was listening to Glenn Beck’s radio show from yesterday & they were discussing why this wasn’t major news everywhere. (Which got me searching the news on the topic.) It has been covered, but doesn’t seem to have been given the prominence it deserves. Jason Butrill said there may be as many as 10,000 victims & it was used to teach cartel members how to torture people. Absolutely horrific.
