I’m amazed that many dems voted for it.

That party is essentially anti American....I guess the ones who voted for it didn’t get the memo yet.

“In the house, 107 Democrats voted against the bill along with one republican.”

All Shitocrats are drug addicts, or pushers. It’s why they want open borders. They need their dope. They also need a steady supply of children to molest and young women to assault.

Good move to add fentanyl analogs as a Schedule I drug and prosecute those who traffic or possess fentanyl in the same manner of those caught with cocaine, LSD, crack, or meth.

Fentanyl is used in surgical and cancer patients. Doesn’t making it schedule I make it unable to be prescribed, like other Schedule I, such as heroin?

The first time I heard of a death from a heroin or derivative was around 2000 in California Bay Area.
It stuck in my head because I thought this drug had been removed from usage back in the 70’s.
It and its versions growth all map to the Bush Family and their involvement in Afghanistan.

More shocking is it took 25 years for anyone to start fighting against it.

Schedule 1 drugs are defined as not having any health use.
Like Heroine, LSD and marihuana!

Fentanyl was schedule II drug, which means there is some legit use. And , yes, hospitals use fentanyl in controlled way as potent painkiller.

So, to be honest, schedule 2 was actually fitting.

I hope this doesn’t result is us having to be carded to buy items containing precursors like is the case with over the counter antihistamines.

I don’t think this is a good idea because Schedule 1 means that there is no medical use for fentanyl when it is used daily in hospitals.

There goes some anti-diarrheal medications.

There are precursors to it in Loperamide (Immodium).

Given how lethal it is, they ought to classify it as a Weapon of Mass Destruction.

I’d stand up and say, “We have a lot of drug addicts in the House, and they are all democrats. Expect a search from the DEA by end of business today.”
