I think it’s died down a bit. I haven’t been out since about 6pm and it was still pretty breezy then. I hope it doesn’t get any worse for you than it was for us. All it seemed to do here is blow sand around. LOL!

Tippy got to visit with my grand-nieces today (3 yrs old, and 10 months old).

They love her and she is very good with them.

I taught 3 Guitar lessons and one piano lesson.

I’m exhausted!

It’s great that she and the nieces get along. Maybe they wore her out a bit...so you both can sleep tonight! You’ve been a busy lady!

I hope it isn’t as bad tomorrow ahead of the next system coming through.

It’s still outside now. It was windy enough this afternoon that I wished I’d anchored my hair down before going out.

They finally mentioned what kind of winds we can expect this weekend and it won’t be as bad as last time, thank goodness. 35+ mph instead of 50. That could always change but I hope it doesn’t. The last system was horrible.
I’m keeping a close eye on it as it moves this direction.

Oh, I hope this latest update is right. 35mph is uncomfortable, but 50 is definitely above tropical storm strength and might take out more of your tree branches.

Thankfully, we didn’t lose any of the dead branches in our trees. I can’t find one of the cat feeding dishes tonight, though. I’ll look for it tomorrow when it’s not dark and no chance of tripping over a kitty underfoot. LOL!

Today’s the first time they’ve mentioned what kind of winds we could expect. They just said we could expect strong winds along with storms and possible tornados. They get a better handle on it as it moves eastward and the forecast could still change. There’ll be two rounds of storms Saturday and the second one is the one that could be really rough here ..... late at night, of course.
I’m looking forward to the 2+ inches of rain they forecast. We need it big time.

Good luck finding the kitties’ food dish. It could be across town by now. LOL
