A CHEERFUL HEART IS GOOD MEDICINE

Proverbs 17:22

A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Which came first the chicken or the egg? We may never know the answer to this question, but when it comes to living a fulfilled life, the joy precedes the good feelings. As a matter of fact, the joy is the antidote to the woes of life. Humor is great medicine. Humor helps us to see the big picture. It provides us with a new context by which to view our situation. It gives us a different vantage point which we can use to reevaluate life. Humor gives us reasons to feel good!

My prayer today is that we find humor in all of life.

Well, yesterday we had 55mph winds.

It’s tough loading and unloading sound equipment when doors won’t stay open. Sis had a gig on the waterfront, and it was really cold and windy.

Spring can’t come soon enough for me.

I’ve set all the clocks ahead so I won’t have to do it later. 😄

Howdy, Kathy!

I’m pretty sure we have more cold days ahead but nothing like the arctic blasts we had last month and January. We’ve had snow in April so I put nothing past Mother Nature.
At least we’ll have spring temps all of next week and I’m looking forward to that. Just have to get through the coolish, damp weekend. Rain’s moving in tonight.

You’ve had a beautiful day up there but it looks like cloudy weather is moving in now. Big storm system over the Bering and MAYBE you’ll get something wet out of the deal. You need it.

He Who blessed our forefathers Abraham, Isaac and Jacob - may He bless the fighters of the Israel Defense Force, who stand guard over our land and the cities of our G-d from the border of the Lebanon to the desert of Egypt, and from the Great Sea unto the approach of the Aravah, on the land, in the air, and on the sea.

May HASHEM cause the enemies who rise up against us to be struck down before them. May the Holy One, Blessed is He, preserve and rescue our fighting men from every trouble and distress and from every plague and illness, and may He send blessing and success in their every endeavor.

May He lead our enemies under their sway and may He grant them salvation and crown them with victory. And may there be fulfilled for them the verse: For it is Hashem, your G-d, Who goes with you to battle your enemies for you to save you.
