The American Capitalist Party has named author Michael Liebowitz as its new Vice Chair. According to the party, Liebowitz was selected by unanimous support during its February meeting.
“Please join us in welcoming our new Vice Chairman, Michael Liebowitz! With unanimous nomination and vote after the motion was presented by our Chairman, Mark Pellegrino, at February’s monthly meeting, Michael Liebowitz joins the Executive Board of Directors as Vice Chairman,” the party stated in its March newsletter. “We are excited to welcome him aboard and know that he will be a strong voice of reason and leadership within the party.”
According to information provided by the party, Liebowitz is an objectivist and author who previously served as a spokesperson for the Libertarian Party of Connecticut. He hosts The Rational Egoist podcast, where he discusses the philosophy of rational egoism and its applications to daily life. He appears to be the American Capitalist Party’s first official Vice Chair since its formal organization this year.
The American Capitalist Party made its debut this past February at LibertyCon International 2025. The organization was co-founded by actor Mark Pellegrino, who also serves as Chair, and investor Joe Sanders. It is also advised by novelist and philosopher Andrew Bernstein. According to a video produced by Pellegrino at LibertyCon International, the party had been in development for some time with an established platform but was formally organized more recently.
The Libertarian Party is splintering. Soon there will be as many independent libertarian parties (under various names) as there are independent socialist parties.
Cue the Monty Python "Life of Brian" sketch in the amphitheater with the argument between the "Judean Peoples Front" and the "Peoples Front of Judea".
"Splitter!!"
Michael Liebowitz and Mark Pellegrino
sounds to me like made-up names ...
Those guys don’t like taking orders (or advice) from anyone.

Or Protestant “churches”.
