Senator Mark Warner (D-VA) claimed Tuesday on CNN’s “The Situation Room” that it is “disgusting” that President Donald Trump is not standing with democracies like Ukraine.

Co-host Pamela Brown asked, “Is the United States on team Russia now?”

Warner said, “This has been a, you know, a two week streak. Remember a week ago last Monday, for the first time ever, America in the United Nations voted with with Russia, Iran, North Korea, Nicaragua denying who started the war in Ukraine. The whole world knows Russia started it. Now you’ve got these this effort after the breakout in the White house or in the Oval Office last week, where they kind of cut the knees out from under Zelensky pulling this aid. It sure as heck appears that Putin and Xi and authoritarian regimes around the world are seeing the, at least the American administration side with them more and more often. We’ve always stood with democracies. I think this is a sad day for democracies around the world.”

Ukraine is not a democracy. It is a dictatorship, with Zelensky's term in office having expired, and rule by martial law. Those rights inherent to a democracy have been suspended.

The Ukraine is not a democracy. It is a CIA proxy state run by the Soggy Bottom Boys. Genuine democracies do not ban multiple opposition parties or close opposition media outlets. Nor do democracies rigorously censor and put under strict government control media outlets that they allow to remain open. Genuine democracies do not outlaw churches that advocate policies the government dislikes. They do not imprison regime opponents, let alone without meaningful due process, much less tolerate the torture of political prisoners. Genuine democracies do not publish “blacklists” of domestic and foreign critics, thereby putting a target on their backs. Yet the Ukrainian government has committed not just one or two, but all of those abuses.

Again, the Ukraine is not a democracy let alone an independent nation state. It is an abused captive dog forced to fight Europe's war.

Zelensky came to Washington as a spoiler, he came in bad faith. And those should be the operative words. He came in bad faith.

Zelensky, the Ukrainian parliament, Trump and other notables had come to an agreement and Zelensky came knowing full well this was to be a ceremonial signing of the agreement. And what does he do. He reneges and wants to re-negotiate in front of the cameras.

Zelensky came to Washington in bad faith and the world should condemn him for it.

Not sure we realize how extreme this is getting. From a Facebook post I was reading they are listing all the evidence that Trump is a recruited KGB agent and discussing planning unrest in the cities and saying our country is finished unless he is “removed” and soon.

Lots of people agreeing with this absolute craziness.

And they have no awareness that both Obama and Biden are the only ones who got Ukraine attacked.
