Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz have instructed the IDF to prepare to protect the Druze village of Jaramana, Syria, following an attack by Syrian government forces on the area.
Jaramana likes three kilometers southeast of Damascus, Syria’s capital.
In a sharp statement, the two said that Israel will not allow harm to the Druze in Syria.
“We will not allow the extreme Islamist terror regime in Syria to harm the Druze,” they said. “If the regime harms the Druze – it will be harmed by us.”
In accordance with Netanyahu and Katz’s instruction, the IDF was instructed to send a harsh warning message to the Syrian regime, and prepare to respond in case of an additional attack against the Druze in Jaramana.
“We are committed to our brothers, the Druze in Israel, to do everything in order to prevent harm to their brothers, the Druze in Syria,” they stressed. “We will take all of the necessary steps to protect their security.”
Israel’s instruction follows a military escalation in southern Syria, which reports say indicates the increasing fighting between the Syrian regime forces and the Druze residents who oppose the Assad regime. Israel is tensely following the developments due to concerns for the civilian population and the disruption of stability on Israel’s northern border.

Israel and the U.S. should recognize a independent Druze state in Sweida, and indeed in all of Southern Syria south of Damascus. It’s time to erase the last century of disastrous European colonial meddling. It’s time to remake the map of the Middle East.

I really hesitate to respond to you because you don’t debate in good faith. Regardless of what I say, if it isn’t “Jews are the chosen people and we owe them our blood and treasure” then you will call it a blood libel.
But here goes anyway…
I will try to explain it by making an analogy. Hopefully you will be able to follow.
I care about my Christian brothers dying just like how you care about Jews dying.
Evil globalist oligarchs decided to start a war in Ukraine so they could launder US tax dollars and become even richer.
The fact that it would kill hundreds of thousands of Christians wasn’t a concern of theirs so they implemented their plan to achieve their desired goals.
I have no reason to believe that they instigated the war in Ukraine for the purpose of killing Christians. It simply wasn’t a concern when they decided to do it.
Because they put their own interests ahead of the people’s lives, I would say the Globalists who decided to wage the war in Ukraine “killed Christians”
Similarly, Israel didn’t care about Christians (or any other religion besides their own) when they decided to destabilize the entire Middle East (with Syria being the latest theater).
So when they decide to engage in behavior which results in the death of Christians, I will say they “killed Christians”
The Globalists didn’t pull the triggers in Ukraine but they were responsible for the deaths of the Christians.
Israel may not be targeting the Christians in Syria but by overthrowing regimes that were tolerant of Christians and enabling ISIS affiliated hajis, they are responsible for the Christians who die there.
You may believe it’s worth it if in the end the Jews are able to safely enjoy their own ethno-state. That’s your opinion. I have a different opinion.

Where in Syria is safer in your opinion?
Being such a small country, Israel has to be cautious about introducing large populations of large non-Jews into their land. If the the population growth of the introduced groups outpaces the birthrate of the Israelis, Israel could eventually lose it's Jewish character. In this case it's better to have friendly neighbors than to absorb them and the land they live in. This would be a win-win for everyone.
So what? I tend to be against ALL foriegn aid. Does not change the fact that Israel needs to level Gaza.

Regarding Gaza, I’m not particularly concerned with who wins or loses the Israel/Gaza war but only a psychopath would enjoy seeing women and children bombed and killed. I mourn the dead on both sides like a Christian should.

Pretty amazing. Israel is going out of its way to protect the Druze minority in another country, (Syria).
The Israelis know that despite all the show put on in Damascus for the Western media (Jihadists with suits and ties AND trimmed beards) that the southern region of Syria must protect itself against the eventual attempt by Islamicists to march on Jerusalem. That is why Israel moved into the buffer zone in the Golan Heights. Now, to the BBC that might look like a “Land Grab” by the “expansionist” “Zionist Occupation Forces” sitting in Syria.
In reality, it is the smartest move Israel coyuld make 52 years after the Yom Kippur War.
IF, and this a huge IF, the new regime in Damascus wants quiet on its border with Israel it will have to tolerate Israel protecting the Druze and Christians in southern Syria, just as they did in Southern Lebanon 1978-2000.
It is a HUGE move on Israel’s part to offer protection to the Druze and Christians. It might even lead to alliances and some kind of peace arrangement...MIGHT.
