Senator Mark Kelly (D-AZ) said Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that President Donald Trump’s Oval Office meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky was “a dumpster fire of diplomacy.”

Zelensky came to Washington in bad faith. The Ukrainian parliament had agreed to the deal as it appeared on POTUS desk and Zelensky did too. It was Zelensky who broke all protocols. He’s been disrespectful since Trump took office. He was very late for a meeting with Treasury Sec Bennet. Then he shows up at the Oval Office in sweats and starts making demands are being argumentative in front of the press. Usually the frank talk is kept private. And the guy showed no gratitude at all. Usually the first thing you say in front of the media is how great it is to be invited, how gracious a host POTUS is, and in this case thank you to the American people for all the support we’ve given so far and how he looks forward to working more closely etc.
Z broke all protocols and tried to embarrass Trump and make demands. It doesn’t work that way. So he got dressed down. He deserved it.
The only mistake that was made - was allowing Zelensky into the White House and allowing the media to be there.
You have to admit he is an expert on dumpster fires.

“... “a dumpster fire of diplomacy.” Every week they try out a new catch phrase to fool the drooling half wits that still support them. “Trump is Hitler” has hit its sell by date and doesn’t move the needle anymore; “Constitutional crisis” never really got up and running, so here we are “a dumpster fire of diplomacy.”
