The Trump administration reportedly plans to roll out an online registry of illegal immigrants as early as this week that would force undocumented migrants to submit personal information or face fines and arrest.
The mandatory registry would require illegal immigrants, including minors over the age of 14, to submit fingerprints and home addresses, according to US Citizens and Immigration Services.
Migrants who fail to register could be fined as much as $5,000 and be sentenced to up to six months in prison, the Wall Street Journal reported on Tuesday.
“Aliens in this country illegally face a choice,” read a memo from Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on the incoming policy. “They can return home and follow the legal process to come to the United States or they can deal with the consequences of continuing to violate our laws.”
The move is part of President Trump’s effort to bolster the nation’s immigration laws and enforcement.

The practical effect of this might be for a significant fraction of the illegal alien population to self deport.
If you are too afraid to ignore this order then you can either comply and worry about when they will come and disrupt your life or you can wind up your affairs and move when it better suits you.
That is cheaper for the US government. Tracking down millions of individuals one by one when they are trying to escape your notice is dificult and expensive.

No hiding, face the fact you are illegally here. I would have made the age when they enroll in preschool or kindergarten. If they are gonna suck from govt dollars they get listed.
Birth certificates should also have to state if parents are legal Citizens or not. Would help us know all the birth tourism babies.
In conjunction with this should be a law that stipulates that if they come back, they will be executed.

Maybe it’s just to smoke them out so we know where they are for future deportation.

Time to split Washington State—merge the east with Idaho and cede the west to China.

Every day it becomes clearer and clearer how aggressive, deliberate, and persistent the actions designed to diminish and ‘transform’ America have been. That we have multiple millions of people here illegally, who were essentially invited to trespass over our border, and that we now have to try to undo this is unconscionable.
It’s in there, according to Noem:
“They must announce that they are here, and if they do so, they can avoid criminal charges and fines and we will help them relocate right back to their home country.”
If they sign up they can have help in returning to their home country. If they don’t sign up they face criminal Charges and fines.
They will be deported after registering.
By registering, they are allowed to legally come back into the US for visits, etc - assuming they have no criminal history.
If they don't register and get deported then they are not eligible to come back into the country for 20 years.
But they won’t be doing many crimes. No 5-finger discounts shoplifting. No shootings or stabbings. No fondling women. And if authorities switch to cutting off toes before deporting them, it’ll be harder for them to tip-toe or run around cops.
We used to receive a letter sent to our street address...
We had until Jan 31st to go to our local INS office or PO if there wasnt one close...
We raised our hands and swore that we still lived at that particular address..
If we moved during the year we had 30 days to register our new address or be deported...
But this was only for IMMIGRANTS not illegal aliens...
My idea was to tattoo something like ‘illegal’ or ‘deported’ across their foreheads if they come back after being deported the first time.
There was a news story about some illegals (3?) with a large amount of drugs that were just apprehended in the raids .... they had been deported 4 times previously.

Make them think twice and worry about every criminal offense.
Washington state has two distinct geographic areas.
Central and Eastern Washington have a lot of agriculture, which attracts mostly Hispanic immigrants.
Western Washington - dominated by metro Seattle - attracts a heavy Asian presence, plus Russians, and Somalis.
Exactly! Why go through this rigamarole...send them home!
