Slightly more than one month into President Trump’s second term, Democrats have yet to figure out how to effectively counter him and make a compelling case to the public.
Indeed, despite the multitude of opportunities that Trump has handed Democrats, the party writ large appears unable to muster anything more than “procedural opposition” as M. Gessen described it.
To be sure, this is not a new problem, but it is an increasingly urgent one.
Since 2016, Democrats have spent more time opposing Donald Trump than they have developing and articulating a clear and compelling vision for the country.
As a result, voters have little idea what Democrats stand for, only who they stand against.
If Democrats hope to right the ship and regain at least one chamber of Congress next year — or the White House in three — they must begin with a messaging strategy that speaks to the issues voters care about: the economy, public safety and border security......
Then, in 1992, Former President Clinton, recognized that the party needed to reclaim the mantle on policies that Americans cared about.
That being said, Democrats will be unable to do so if they cannot articulate a competing agenda, one built on improving people’s economic situation and addressing key issues.

Just go back to Trump's 1st term when he tried to work with them on prescription drug prices, they pulled the rug out from him.
Schoen is somewhat reasonable, which means Dems have no use for him. Dems are too invested in wokeism and corruption to turn back now.

The problem is: The Rats want to destroy the economy, they fully support defunding the police and letting criminals freely rape and murder Americans, and they don’t want any border security preferring to flood the U.S. with third worlders looking to rob us blind.
So any “messaging strategy” that says different is an outright lie. Being honest won’t get them votes.
Why would we want the democrats to win back America? I hear this crap all the time. Many conservatives still treat democrats as if they’re just good old fashion competition, basically chasing the same values. They are the enemy. They are evil. Them winning is not an option.
They can’t.
The Democrat Party has purged itself of all conservative thought in any way, shape, matter or form.
The have filled every square inch of their party with ‘progressives’ which is just a nice word for ‘Communists’.
They cannot turn this around any time soon. They continue the Long March to inconsequentialness.

Unless the start supporting at least a few conservative ideals like strong borders, worthwhile education and excellence in meritocracy, they are doomed to be a minority party of minorities............

Their compelling case was bankrupting America and flooding it with violent foreign criminals and then saying socialism is the only solution to it. They just didn’t have enough time to make it seem reasonable.
They would 100% immediately have to start working with Trump. They would have to repudiate everything you posted. They can’t do it. I hope they are truly done as a political party. I thank my Father in heaven that I have lived to see these deviants and cheaters take the fall they have taken.
