I can only hope Elon ran this notion to Trump BEFORE he tweeted the public about it yesterday. That would be following the chain of command.
The possibility of receiving a $5K pay back from the Government, is a statement you can not just ignore or delete.
I’d rather the whole amount go to paying down the national debt.
This is brilliant because it will give taxpayers a tangible frame of reference on the scale of corruption uncovered. Heck, make it $50k if trillions end up being saved!
If it was only given to illegal aliens or to fund abortions they would.
I’m halfway between you and Trump. Put half onto the debt and half to American taxpayers, not to American citizens.

You can’t think that 5,000 x 200 billion (or whatever the population is who pay taxes. It’s prob 100 mil) would put a dent into the 34 trillion debt
I would be fine with my portion going towards the national debt.
Or I will donate it to FreeRepublic.
