If they’re majority Russian let them be with their own. They’re better off with the EU but Ukraine is too corrupt.

The border will be the area which voted in the two referendums to return to Mother Russia.

It’s not his fault there was a “color revolution” which resulted in a coup d’etat that displaced an elected government. Was it?

Duh.

Took how many years and lives ruined for you to wake up to a reality that was obvious from the moment Russia invaded?!?

Once Kiev repelled the initial invasion they should have immediately been pursuing peace.

Z is a clown, his inability to understand the most basic geopolitical realities of his own country and willing to listen to western leaders who fed him lies and used him make him the dumbest political leader in the western world

Perhaps, but I think that practical aspects of the collapse of the Soviet Union need to be resolved. The Ukraine is still full of nuclear reactors that, I expect, use Russian fuel rods and hardened underground weapons manufacturing, I suspect.

When the Ukraine is returned to farming, it won’t matter where the borders are.

It's not surrender at all, it's we do not want American involvement in this conflict any longer. There should have been none to begin with. We should have not fomented a color revolution of the Ukrainian sitting, duly elected, Ukrainian President. They should have stopped threatening Russia with Ukraine NATO membership.

It Biden had done that, then Ukraine would be whole. In addition, there would be many people still alive.

But haters have to hate, to make money off of war, while indebting America's middle-class to pay for the cost of war, but enriches the super wealthy.

“They’re better off with the EU but Ukraine is too corrupt.”

The ones in Ukraine who support Russia are likely against the Green New Deal, Grooming of their kids, and Mass Immigration.

...so, no, they’re better off with Russia as they won’t have to deal with that crap.

By the way, it’s something that more and more countries in the EU are realizing, now that the EU has pivoted from being a nice ‘common market’ with one currency, to an unelected dictatorship, best resembling the Soviet Union.

I agree with Maher on this one. Ukraine simply doesn’t have the power to push the Russians back across the 2014 borders. I accept that as reality.

I think Zelinski wants NATO and the U.S. to move in and push the Russians back. I think we could but that pushes us way closer to nuclear war than I’m willing to go.

Did they ever just ask the people who live in that eastern region what they would want?
