In this writer’s opinion, Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton committed treason surrounding the debacle in Benghazi, Libya on Sept. 11, 2012.
In this 1950s, Julius and Ethel Rosenberg were executed for treason, for supplying nuclear weapons secrets to the Soviets. Obama, Hillary and possibly several others knowingly provided similar game-changing technology to several of our enemies in bad judgment that amounts to treason.
Treason has no statute of limitations. The penalty is life imprisonment, or death. Prosecuting them wouldn’t be Lawfare, because Lawfare involves exaggerated charges or selective prosecution. This is neither.
And neither Obama nor Hillary were pardoned. Both committed treason by providing “aid and comfort” to the Taliban, ISIS and a Libyan militia group called Ansar al-Sharia (AAS), which became an al-Qaida franchise.
In 2012, Obama was president, Hillary was secretary of state, and David Petraeus was CIA director. The latter is an old school, anti-DEI general who had been commanding U.S. forces in Afghanistan, until he was replaced by a DEI advocate in July 2011.
Team Obama, through Hillary’s State Department, was directing shipments of Russian- and Chinese-made small arms (AK-47s, RPGs), via a broker in Qatar, to AAS and other “moderate Libyan rebels.”
Petraeus advised against this, saying AAS was high risk to join al-Qaida. Team Obama did it anyway, relying on “better advice” from other, more left-wing advisors. AAS overthrew strongman Moammar Gadhafi, capturing enormous quantities of weapons, and then promptly joined al-Qaida.
The same Qatar gunrunner was then used to supply “moderate Syrian rebels” against the Bashar al-Assad regime. Again, Petraeus advised against it, saying they were high risk to join ISIS. This time, he refused to use CIA assets to facilitate weapons shipments.

Most people think Benghazi was a terrorist attack but it was a kidnapping attempt that turned into three separate incidents by three different groups.
Highly recommend Googling Sarah Adams. She was in Benghazi and served on Trey Gowdy’s committee. Amb. Stephens was in Benghazi prepping for a Hillary victory trip in November.

Recall also Hussein disappearing for several days also...IIRC this was also the time period where Cankles referred the infamous quote about “at his point...what difference does it make?” in the Benghazi hearings.

Treason is specifically defined as making war against the United States and/or giving aid and comfort to its enemies.
It is fine to trash Obama and Clinton for what the did regarding Benghazi and they may well have broken laws, but it wasn’t treason.
Just watching the movie “13 Hours” had me so PO’d and frustrated.... The tech advisers were the guys that endured it so I’m assuming it was fairly accurate. God bless them for staying focused. Disgraceful incident.

Throwing around the treason word indiscriminately will make it easier to have Rats apply it to us. And they will do it!! It’s naive to think they won’t have power again no matter how well Trump governs. The voting public is fickle if it is anything!

After we crippled and paralyzed the Libyan military from the air (offensive, expeditionary, no threat to us), we were arming rebel groups in Libya, some (what we call more moderate) with pretty extreme ideologies that are along the lines of AQ.

Libya is an oil producer. They are Russian aligned. We want to tear them under our control.
Syria today and HTS is the same thing. Suddenly folks that decapitate people in the streets aren’t so bad anymore, $10 million bounties are dropped on their leader, and all the bad images on Google just mysteriously disappear or go to some back page in a search.
Indict them both.
And no facts have to be made up to indict them.
Until Trump won the last election, Obama continued to run the presidency as his own criminal enterprise, using the demented Joe Biden as his front man.
Indicting them both would be a good thing for America, it would right the ship of state, which has been listing left for years.

Treason is a very specific, and is the only penal provision in the US Constitution.
Article III
Section 3
“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.
The Congress shall have Power to declare the Punishment of Treason, but no Attainder of Treason shall work Corruption of Blood, or Forfeiture except during the Life of the Person attainted.”
