In a bombshell revelation that could shake the foundations of American healthcare, Elon Musk, leading the charge under President Trump’s newly minted Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), has uncovered what he describes as a staggering “$100B of taxpayer money” wasted by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
On Wednesday, Musk’s team, along with two senior veterans from the agency, has been meticulously reviewing the CMS’s payment and contracting systems, which are crucial for managing health insurance for approximately one in every four Americans, according to far-left USA Today.
“CMS has two senior Agency veterans – one focused on policy and one focused on operations – who are leading the collaboration with DOGE, including ensuring appropriate access to CMS systems and technology,” the agency said in a statement to Reuters.

They know for decades there is waste and fraud in the system. They even advertise asking people to report suspected Medicade fraud.
We, the American People, have been fleeced for years. I cannot describe how angry this makes me. Year after year I worked and paid my taxes. People need to be prosecuted. This cannot stand.
There is a misnomer going around about all these outlandish government expenditures.
None of this is ‘waste’.
It’s malfeasance and embezzlement.

The media angle of all of this needs to be deeply explored. The waste, fraud and abuse being uncovered is massive. This is what the public voted for. Results are coming in fast and exceed expectations. And the media cannot see the benefit. They hate it. People getting what people want? That’s a threat to “Our Democracy”! In any sane society, the media would be jumping on this bandwagon. But they are still against Trump 24/7. It’s weird and it’s evidence of further corruption.
A hundred billion here , a couple of hundreds of billions there and pretty soon it starts adding up to some serious money.

I’m not sure what a base rate of theft, fraud and costs for incompetence would be in the entire DC federal workforce. Maybe 30% or more shaved from the budget by showing the American People a meticulous audit each year.
After the huge costs of DC’s gubmint criminal enterprises are eliminated, Musk can get down to real modernization of these agencies.

If they wouldn’t have cheated Trump out of the Presidency in 2020 chances are this would never have been exposed.
You know what I’d like to see them do? Dig into the VA and find out where all the waste is and then instead of cutting the budget FIX IT so it all goes to the vets getting the best health care.
